A big news has come out for thousands of youth preparing for government jobs in Bihar. Candidates waiting for the Constable Operator Recruitment Examination in Bihar Police Telecommunication and Technical Department will now have to appear for the examination as per the new date. Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) has decided to change the date of examination.

Actually, the written examination for recruitment to 993 posts of constable (operator) in Bihar Police was to be held on 21 June 2026. But on the same day, the postponed examination of NEET (UG) 2026 is also being conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). There are a large number of students who have applied for both Bihar Police Recruitment and NEET. In such a situation, since both the examinations were held on the same day, the candidates could have faced a lot of trouble.

Seeing this problem of the candidates, the Recruitment Board took a big decision in time and postponed the examination and announced a new date. After this decision, thousands of youth have heaved a sigh of relief, because now they will not be forced to miss any one examination.

Why was the exam date changed?

When the schedule of both the examinations to be held on June 21 was revealed, many candidates had expressed their concerns. He said that he has been preparing for both the exams for a long time and if both are held on the same day then he will face a big crisis.

Understanding the situation, the Central Selection Board gave priority to the interest of the candidates and decided to extend the date of the examination. The Recruitment Board believes that no candidate should be deprived of the opportunity just because of conflict of dates.

Now when will the exam be held?

According to the new notification, Bihar Police Constable (Operator) recruitment examination will now be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026. The examination will be held in a single shift and its time has been fixed from 12 noon to 2 pm.

However, candidates will have to reach the center much before the commencement of the examination. The board has clarified that all the candidates will have to enter the examination center between 10 am to 11 am. Candidates arriving after the scheduled time may face difficulty in admission.

You will be able to see exam center information from June 15th

Another important information for the candidates is that they will be able to check their exam related information online from June 15, 2026. For this, candidates will have to visit the official website of the Council. There they will be able to login with the help of their registration number or mobile number and date of birth. After login, candidates will be able to know in which district their examination has been conducted. This will make it easier for them to prepare for travel and other arrangements.
