The result of UPSC CSE Prelims exam is prepared on the basis of the performance of the candidates in the General Studies paper. CSAT paper is a qualifying exam and candidates have to score at least 33 percent marks in it. The final cut off for qualifying marks is prepared on the basis of General Studies Paper-1 marks, number of vacancies and candidates all over performance.

• For this, first of all the user will have to go to the official website upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.
• After this you will have to click on the Exams option on the home page.
• Now open the Return Exam Result tab.
• After this click on the link of UPSC Prelims Result 2026.
• Download the PDF file now
• After downloading the PDF, candidates can enter their roll number using Control F.
• If the roll number appears in the list then you have become eligible for UPSC mains exam.
