National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam schedule for Common University Entrance Test Post Graduate (CUET PG) 2026. If you have applied for CUET PG 2026, then you must know all the important information related to this exam like exam dates, shift timings, list of subjects and subject code etc. This schedule has been released on the official website of NTA on February 14, 2026.

CUET PG 2026 will be conducted from March 6 to March 27, 2026. Along with other important information related to the examination, it has also been told how the examination will be conducted and what will be the timing of each shift.

CUET PG 2026 Exam Dates

CUET PG 2026 exam will start from 6th March 2026 and will continue till 27th March 2026. During this period, the examination will be conducted in two to three shifts every day. Candidates must carefully check their exam date and shift during this time period so that they can appear at the exam center on time.

Registration and Correction Process

The registration process for CUET PG 2026 ran from 14 December 2025 to 25 January 2026. After this, a modification window was also opened for the candidates who wanted to make any changes in their application, which was available from January 28 to January 30, 2026.

Mode of examination and time limit

CUET PG 2026 exam will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Candidates will get total time of 90 minutes during the examination. The examination will be conducted in two to three shifts every day. In which Shift 1 is from 9:00 am to 10:30 am, Shift 2 is from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm and Shift 3 is from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The duration of each shift will be 90 minutes, in which candidates will have to answer questions related to their subject.

Subject and number of candidates

CUET PG 2026 exam will be conducted for a total of 157 different postgraduate (PG) subjects. A total of 4,11,366 candidates have registered for this examination. Candidates will be allowed to appear for a maximum of four examination papers, for which they can select the subject of their choice. NTA has released the detailed exam schedule including exam date, shift timings, subject name and subject code. Candidates are advised to read the examination schedule carefully and prepare accordingly. For some subjects, question papers will be in English only, while for most other subjects, question papers will be available in both English and Hindi languages. Question papers of language related subjects will be in the respective language only.

City Information Slip and Updates

City information slip for CUET PG 2026 will be released on NTA website approximately 10 days before the exam date. In this slip, candidates will be given information about the city of their examination centre. National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the application correction window, giving relief to the candidates applying for CUET PG 2026. Students who have already registered can now make necessary corrections in some of the information entered in their online application form.

NTA has clarified that this facility is for a limited time and candidates will be allowed to make changes in their applications only till 11:50 pm on January 30, 2026. After this no amendment will be accepted under any circumstances.

NTA has advised the candidates not to wait for the last minute and check their applications carefully by visiting the official website exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/. The application correction window is being given only once, so all changes will have to be made thoughtfully. If there is change in the application fee due to any correction, candidates will have to pay the additional fee through online mode with the options of credit card, debit card, net banking and UPI.

Where can changes be made?

During application correction, candidates can make changes in mobile number, e-mail ID, permanent and current address, photo and signature. At the same time, no changes can be made in the candidate’s name, parents’ name, date of birth, gender, category, sub-category, examination paper code, examination city and identity related information. NTA has also clarified that changes in subject, examination or syllabus can be made only during this period and after that the application form will be frozen.

Here are the easy steps

To make corrections in the application, candidates should first visit the official website exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg. Click on the “Sign In” tab or Application Form Correction link present on the home page. After this, login with the help of your user ID and password. After login, make necessary changes in the details in which corrections are allowed in the application form. After making all the changes, save the form and take a printout of the modified application form for future use.

If you are preparing for CUET PG 2026 for admission in post graduation, then this news is very important for you. The National Testing Agency has made it clear that the last date to apply is January 14. Students who have not been able to fill the form yet have very little time left. NTA has issued an important advisory regarding CUET PG 2026. It has been told that the last date of application has been fixed as January 14 and after that no form will be accepted. How much will the application fee cost?

For CUET PG 2026, general category candidates will have to pay Rs 1400, EWS and OBC will have to pay Rs 1200, SC/ST will have to pay Rs 1100 and disabled candidates will have to pay Rs 1000. If a candidate chooses additional test paper, then Rs 700 will have to be paid for general category and Rs 600 for other categories. The fee for foreign candidates has been fixed at Rs 7000 and for additional paper at Rs 3500.

If you have made a mistake while filling the form, there is no need to panic. NTA is going to open the correction window. This facility will be available from January 18 to January 20. During this time, candidates can make necessary corrections in their form. However, there are some information which cannot be changed, hence it is better to fill the form carefully for the first time.

• First of all go to the official website of NTA exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg/.
• Click on the link “Registration for CUET (PG) 2026 is LIVE” on the homepage.
• Now a new page will open, where you will have to register first.
• Fill information like name, mobile number, email ID in registration.
• Login details will be available as soon as the registration is completed.
• Candidates should now login and fill the required information.
• After this upload the candidates photo and signature.
• Now candidates should submit the fees.
• After submitting the form, download a copy of it and save it.
