National Testing Agency (NTA) has given good news for the candidates waiting for this examination.

NTA has started the application process for Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2026. Now eligible and interested candidates can apply online by visiting the official website. This examination is conducted for admission in central universities, state universities and other participating institutions of the country. Every year lakhs of students appear in this examination, so it is very important to apply on time. Important dates of CUET UG 2026 application

CUET UG 2026 application starting date is 3 January 2026. The last date for application is 30 January 2026. Apart from this, the last date for depositing fees will be 31 January 2026. Also, the correction window will be from 2 February to 4 February 2026.

According to the notification issued by NTA, CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted between 11 May to 31 May 2026. This examination will be in Computer Based Test (CBT Mode). The exam will be conducted in 13 Indian languages, which include Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

Who can apply for CUET UG 2026?

There is no age limit for CUET UG 2026. Candidates who have passed class 12th or equivalent examination, or students who are going to appear for class 12th examination in 2026 can also apply. NIOS, Diploma, Pre-University, HSC (Vocational) pass candidates are also eligible. However, the university or college where admission is to be taken will have its own rules applicable.

4. Login with registration ID and password.

Common University Entrance Test (Cuet UG) is a relief news for the students applying for 2025. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the last date of CUET UG 2025 registration to 24 March 2025. Student candidates can now complete the application process without any haste. However, it has been advisable to apply in time to avoid any technical trouble. On March 25, 2025 last date has been given to deposit the fees.

According to the information given by NTA, the last date has been kept till 11:50 pm on 25 March 2025 to submit the fee of Cuet UG 2025 application. Earlier this date was fixed on 23 March, but now it has been extended for two days. Candidates can pay their fees through credit card, debit card, UPI or net banking.

Cuet UG 2025 Exam Date and Exam Center

The Cuet UG 2025 exam will be conducted between 8 May to 1 June 2025 through a computer based test (CBT). This exam will be held at 300 examination centers in India and abroad. The process of applying for Cuet UG 2025 is completely online. Students can apply by visiting NTA’s official website cuet.nta.nic.in.

Admission will be available in these central universities

Based on the score of Cuet UG 2025, admission will be available in 46 central universities of the country. These include Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU).

What happened in the syllabus?

This time the Cuet UG 2025 exam will be conducted for 37 subjects. The syllabus of the examination (syllabus) has been prepared according to NCERT. However, 8 subjects have been removed from the examination syllabus this year. Candidates are advised to check the syllabus of CUET UG 2025 on the official website and accordingly make your preparation. Candidates applying for Cuet UG 2025 will have to complete the registration process before 24 March 2025. Submit the fees by 25 March. If there is a mistake in filling the application form, it can be corrected through correction windows from 26 to 28 March.
