Prices of commercial LPG cylinders increased

After the new prices, the price of 19 kg commercial cylinders in Delhi has been increased by Rs 42, due to which its price has now increased to Rs 3113.50. Its price in Mumbai is Rs 3067. Whereas in Kolkata the prices have increased by Rs 53.50, due to which the price has become Rs 3255.50 and in Chennai it has reached Rs 3283.

No change in domestic cylinder prices

Let us tell you that the prices of 14.2 kg domestic LPG cylinder are currently stable. Its price remains Rs 913 in Delhi, Rs 912 in Mumbai, Rs 939 in Kolkata and Rs 928.50 in Chennai.

PIB’s press release states that India is the world’s 4th largest refiner and 5th largest exporter of petroleum products, supplying refined fuel to more than 150 countries. Since India is a net exporter to the world, the availability of domestic petrol and diesel is structurally assured. All over one lakh retail fuel outlets across the country are open and distributing fuel without any interruption.

The government has clarified that there is no shortage of LPG in the country. Oil companies are successfully delivering more than 50 lakh cylinders every day. Due to panic orders by consumers, the demand for cylinders had reached 89 lakh cylinders and now has come down again to 50 lakh cylinders.
