American Special Forces soldiers suddenly attacked in the Venezuelan capital Caracas in the early hours of Saturday (January 3, 2026). During this time, American forces had captured Maduro and his wife Cilia Flores. It is said that during this early morning raid, Maduro was sleeping in his residence located in the high security Fort Tiuna military complex in Caracas.

Video of Maduro’s parade goes viral
The White House’s official account Rapid Response-47 posted a video on social media platform X of Maduro’s ‘criminal parade’ inside the DEA office in Lower Manhattan. The video shows Maduro, 63, wearing handcuffs and a black hooded sweatshirt walking down a blue carpet-covered corridor with the DEA NYD label. During this, Nicolas Maduro was also heard saying good night and happy new year to the officials present in the room.

According to reports, Maduro was detained when he was trying to escape to his safe room surrounded by iron walls. He was first taken to a US military base on Saturday evening and then transferred to New York City.

According to American media, Maduro will be taken from the DEA office to the Metropolitan Detention Center, a federal prison in Brooklyn. Let us tell you that this is the same jail where rapper Sean DD Combs was kept during his trial last year.
