Adivi Sesh and Mrinal Thakur’s film ‘Dacait’, directed by Shanel Dev, was released in theaters on April 10. According to the report of Sacknilk, ‘Dacait’ did a business of Rs 6.55 crore on the first day amidst the storm of ‘Dhurandhar 2’. It gave a tough competition to Aditya Dhar’s action spy film on the first day but on the second day i.e. on Saturday, the earnings of ‘Dacait’ were much less than that of ‘Dhurandhar 2’.

‘Dacoit’ earned this much on Saturday

According to the report of SACNILC, ‘Dacoit’ has earned Rs 6.60 crore on the first Saturday i.e. till 10.30 pm on the second day. The film gave a tough competition to ‘Dhurandhar 2’ but the Ranveer Singh starrer film did not earn much on the 24th day as compared to Friday. It has earned Rs 13.50 crore on the fourth Saturday. On the second day, the impact of the whirlwind of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ on Adivi’s film was seen.

‘Dacait’ ahead of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ in occupancy

However, if we talk about the occupancy of both the films, the occupancy of ‘Dacait’ is higher than that of ‘Dhurandhar 2’. According to Sacknilk, the occupancy of Aditya Dhar’s film was 23.2 percent on the fourth Saturday.

– Whereas the occupancy of Adivi Sesh and Mrinal Thakur’s film ‘Dacait’ is 27.5 percent.

Earnings of ‘Dacait’ and ‘Dhurandhar 2’ in other languages

Apart from this, according to Sacknilk, the dominance of ‘Dacoit’ has been seen more in the South. The film has earned Rs 1.40 crore in Hindi and Rs 5.20 crore in Telugu. Its occupancy was 15 percent in Hindi and 40 percent in Telugu. At the same time, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has done a business of Rs 13 crore in Hindi, Rs 17 lakh in Tamil, Rs 24 lakh in Telugu, Rs 8 lakh in Kannada and Rs 1 lakh in Malayalam.
