Maryam aurangzeb on Dangal: A minister of Pakistan’s Punjab province said that he was regretted not to allow Aamir Khan’s ‘Dangal’ to be displayed in his country in 2017. Maryam Aurangzeb, minister of the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) government of Punjab province, said that she became the Information Minister when ‘Dangal’ was released internationally and in India.

Maryam Aurangzeb said on a popular podcast, “Yes, if I regret one thing while being the federal information minister, then it is to ban ‘Dangal’ screening in Pakistan.” He said, “This was my first meeting with the representatives of the censor board and the people of the Ministry of Information and recommended a ban on the screening of the film, stating some reasons.
