Yes, new research has revealed that only the inclusion of fruits and vegetables in the daily diet improves not only the health of the kidney, but also reduces blood pressure and the risk of heart attack also decreases.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>5 years of study</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">In this study at the University of Texas, USA, Austin, 153 high BP and Macrolbuminuria patients were divided into three groups.</p>

<li style="text-align: justify;">First Group-Fruits and vegetables that make 2–4 cups base with daily meals were included.</li>
<p>&#13;</p>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Second Group &#8211; 4–5 tablets (650 mg) of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) were given twice daily.</li>
<p>&#13;</p>
<li style="text-align: justify;">Third Group &#8211; Only General Medical Care was given.</li>

<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Why is macroelbuminuria dangerous?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This condition is a sign of chronic kidney disease. It increases the risk of kidney failure over time. Also, the risk of heart attack and stroke also increases manifold.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Research results</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The study found that both fruits and vegetables and sodium bicarbonate improved kidney health. However, only fruits and vegetables were effective in reducing blood pressure and reducing the risk of heart disease. Baking soda did not get these two benefits.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Drug dose also decreased</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Another big advantage was that eating fruits and vegetables had to reduce the amount of medicines used in the treatment of BP and heart disease. That is, the patient also got good results in low doses of medicine.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">According to Dr. Maninder Kahlle involved in the study, &#8220;The patients can get the benefits of kidney health, both baking soda and fruits and vegetables, but prevention of BP control and heart disease is possible only from fruits and vegetables. So they should be considered a foundational treatment for high BP patients.&#8221;</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What to do patients?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Include 2–4 cups of green leafy vegetables, cucumber, tomatoes, carrots, papaya, apple, orange etc. in diet daily.</p>

In India, this problem is being seen more often at a young age and more often than developed countries. The reason for this is modern lifestyle and stress as well as poor habits.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">However, the good news is that heart disease can be prevented. If the youth take the right steps in time, then they can keep their heart healthy. Regular health checkups can monitor cholesterol, blood pressure and sugar levels, which can cause problems soon. Improvement in food and drink is also necessary. Increasing the intake of oils like fruits, vegetables, whole grains and olives benefits the heart. Also, processed foods and sugar should be reduced.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What is necessary to do yoga?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Physical activity is also very important. Five days a week, a light workout of just 30 minutes can reduce the risk of heart disease significantly. Methods like yoga and meditation can be adopted to reduce stress. Adequate sleep also controls stress. Smoking and distance from alcohol are also necessary, as both of them are harmful to the heart.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">The increasing level of pollution in today&#8217;s runaway and stressful life is also a threat to heart health.
