This is the first time that Daso (Dassault Aviation) company has tied up to make business-jet in a country outside France. After the agreement, Reliance Company issued a statement saying that business jet will be constructed for India as well as global market in Daso Reliance Aerospace Limited (Dral) in Nagpur.

The first Falcon-20000 Business Jet will be ready by 2028

This second major agreement of French company Dassault in India’s aviation sector

In recent times, this is the second major agreement of French company Daso (Dassault) in India’s aviation sector. Recently, Daso had tied up with the Tata Advanced Company to create a fusalaz of Rafale fighter jet. These fusals will also be used for fighter aircraft made for Rafal for India as well as other countries.

Reliance Company will make ammunition for Indian Army in the country itself

The Reliance Company also signed an agreement with a company called Raenmetal of Germany last week to make ammunition in the country itself.
Rafale fighter jet: During ‘Operation Sindoor’, India rescued Pakistan’s sixes with the help of Rafale fighter jet. Now the news of the body being built in India is coming out. An agreement has been signed by French aerospace company Dassault Aviation and Tata Advanced Systems Limited (TASL). Under this, the body of Rafale fighter jet will be built in India for both domestic and international markets. For this, four production transfer agreements have been reached between the two companies.

Body will be built out of France for the first time

This is the first time Rafael’s body will be made somewhere out of France. The aim of this cooperation between the government’s ‘Make in India’ initiative is to promote self -reliance in the defense sector. A unit will be built in Hyderabad under the partnership of the Tata Advanced System held with Dassault, where the main structural sections of Rafael will be manufactured. Many sections like Rafael’s front section, Central Fuselage, Rear Section and Lateral Shell will be made in the plant. Production is expected to start from the financial year 2028.

According to a Business Standard report, Eric Trappier, chairman and CEO of Dassault Aviation, said, “This is a decisive step taken to strengthen our supply chain in India. With our growing local partners like Tasl, this supply chain will contribute to the production of Rafael and our quality and competitiveness needs will be met. ”

That’s why Rafael is special

TASL CEO and MD Sukaran Singh described the agreement as an important milestone in India’s aerospace journey. He said, “Production of Rafale’s body in India is evidence of increasing trust towards our companies and it reflects India’s progress in Modern Aerospace Manufacturing Ecosystem.”

Rafael is a double engine with France and a multirol fighter aircraft. Many features like its speed, radar system, payload capacity, air-to-air refueling are in line with meeting the needs of modern war. The spectra system installed in it helps to protect it from getting into the radar of enemies. Rafael’s role is important in the Indian Air Force (IAF).

Indian navy: The deal to buy fighter jets for the Indian Navy was completed between India and France today. Under this deal of about Rs 64,000 crore, France will give India 26 Rafale Marine Aircraft. Of these, 22 will be single seater and 4 twin seater training versions. This pact was approved in a virtual event. India is buying this jet aircraft from the French defense company Dassault Aviation for deployment on INS Vikrant. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh was also present in this event.

Jet aircraft will be delivered after five years

Three weeks after the approval of the procurement was approved by the Cabinet Committee (CCS) on security affairs headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. According to the conditions, delivery of jets will begin about five years after the deal is signed. In July 2023, the Ministry of Defense approved the deal after several rounds of discussions and the evaluation test of the platform. Under this, the Indian Navy will also get arms system and spare parts from Rafael (Marine) Jet maker Dassault Aviation. This will prove to be a gamechanger in terms of protecting the maritime border for India.

INS Vikrant’s deployment in the Arabian Sea

Significantly, there is an atmosphere of tension between India and Pakistan after the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir on 22 April. Since then, India put an end to its diplomatic and business relations with Pakistan. Recently, the Indian Navy also deployed its indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant in the Arabian Sea amid growing tension. This shows that India is fully prepared to deal with any possible challenge in the coming time.
