In the All India meeting held in Jabalpur, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Dattatreya Hosabale spoke in detail on many issues and rejected Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s statement banning RSS.

Responding to Kharge’s statement, Hosabale said, “Talks of banning the Sangh have been made thrice already, but there should be some reason for banning. The society has completely accepted the Sangh.” He said that at present 8399 branches of the Sangh are active and special work is going on to expand the branches in tribal areas.

What did Kharge say?

In fact, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had written in an ex-post that recently topics related to Gandhiji, Godse, RSS and 2002 Gujarat riots have been removed from three NCERT textbooks. He alleged that the Modi government is constantly trying to prove lies as truth, which clearly shows its intentions.

But, on July 9, 2024, the Modi government lifted this ban, due to which government employees have been allowed to get associated with RSS and its activities. The people of the organization which was behind the assassination of Gandhiji, which was banned by Sardar Patel, were banned by Sardar Patel. BJP has also banned government employees with the same organization. Has been given permission to join.”

Recently, topics related to Gandhiji, Godse, RSS and 2002 Gujarat riots have been removed from three NCERT books.

Sangh’s ideology should reach every person – Hosabale

Hosabale said that 86,000 Hindu conferences will be organized in the coming time, so that the message of Sangh’s ‘Panch Parivartan’ and Hindu unity reaches the society. He told that soon the birth anniversary of Sardar Patel, 350th birth anniversary of Guru Tegh Bahadur and the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda will be specially celebrated. He said, “Lord Birsa Munda was not just a tribal leader but a leader of the entire society. He fought to stop religious conversions.” Hosabale said that on the completion of 150 years of the song ‘Vande Mataram’, programs will be organized across the country and people will be informed about its historical importance.

What did you say on Manipur violence?

On Manipur violence, he said that the situation has improved in the state and the government has taken effective steps. Manipur is a border state. Two communities of the same state should not fight among themselves. Gradually good days will return.”

“Naxalism decreased, social unity increased”

He said that there has been a huge decline in Naxalite activities in Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand and now people are joining the mainstream. Now development and social harmony is increasing in these areas. Caste discrimination has reduced.” Emphasizing the role of youth, he said that the young generation has an important role in nation building, but drug addiction is a matter of concern.

RSS Sarkaryavah said that conversion and religious awakening were discussed in the meeting. He said, “Conversion is happening as part of a conspiracy. We have to spread awareness to stop it.”

He told that in the RSS meeting, emphasis was laid on strengthening indigenous and self-reliant India. Regarding caste census, he said that it should not be seen from political point of view, but from the point of view of removing social inequality.

“The situation in Bengal is dire, needs attention”

He said that enmity has increased in Bengal due to political reasons and considering the border situation of the state, the Center should pay special attention. Hosabale clarified that RSS is not an organization associated with any political party, but maintains dialogue with all sections and religions of the society.

Concern expressed over infiltration and population imbalance

He said that for the last 20 years, RSS has been discussing issues like infiltration, conversion and population imbalance. Regarding this, he said, “It is the responsibility of the government to implement population control.”

Dattatreya Hosbole’s statement about socialism-secular

RSS leader Dattatreya Hosbole said on Thursday (27 June 2025), “The word socialism-secular was included in the preface of the Constitution during the Emergency. The Constitution made by Babasaheb Ambedkar, these words were never in the preamble of the constitution made. When the fundamental rights were suspended during the Emergency, the words were not worked, the words were not worked.”

Dattatreya Hosbole said, “The issue was discussed later, but an attempt was not made to remove them from the preface. Whether these words should be in the preface or not, it should be considered.”

Conspiracy to destroy the constitution- Congress

The Congress said, “In the Lok Sabha elections, BJP leaders were openly saying that we need more than 400 seats in Parliament to change the Constitution. Now once again they are engaged in their conspiracies, but the Congress will not allow their plans to succeed at any cost. ”

The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) called for reviewing socialist and secular words in the Preamble of the Constitution on Thursday (June 26, 2025) that they were included during the Emergency and were never part of the constitution that BR Ambedkar had prepared.

Addressing an event organized on the Emergency, RSS General Secretary Dattatreya Hosbale said, ‘These words were never in the preamble of the constitution made by Babasaheb Ambedkar. During the Emergency, when fundamental rights were suspended, Parliament was not working, the judiciary was paralyzed, then these words were added.

Duttayetha Hosbole said that the issue was discussed later but no attempt was made to remove them from the preface. Hosbale said, “Therefore, whether they should stay in the preface or not, it should be considered.” Hosbole said, ‘The preamble is eternal. Are the ideas of socialism eternal as an ideology for India? ‘

The senior RSS officer suggested to consider removing both words when he targeted the Congress for excesses of emergency and demanded an apology from the party.

Recalling the Emergency days declared on 25 June 1975, Duttayetha Hosbale said that thousands of people were jailed and tortured during that time, while the freedom of the judiciary and media was also curbed.

The RSS leader said that forcibly sterilization was also done on a large scale during the Emergency days. He said, ‘Those who did such things are roaming with a copy of the Constitution today. They have not apologized yet … they apologize. Attacking the Congress, Hosbale said, “Your ancestors did this … You should apologize to the country for this.”

Addressing the program, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari criticized the Congress for imposing an emergency on behalf of the Indira Gandhi -led government 50 years ago and said that the atrocities committed during the 21 -month emergency in the previous Congress government can never be forgotten.

He said, “To save his chair and suppress the voice of the people, the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi announced the emergency on 25 June 1975 and crushed the spirit of the Constitution.” Nitin Gadkari said that during the Emergency, many amendments were made in the Constitution and the constitution was blown away.

He alleged, ‘Congress leaders campaigned against us (alleged) that we would change the constitution. We neither talked about changing the constitution nor do we have any desire to do so. If someone committed the biggest sin to violate the Constitution, it was a Congress led by Indira Gandhi.

During this period, Dattatreya Hosbole answered the questions asked to know the attitude of RSS on the issues from Aurangzeb to Muslim Reservation and BJP President.

On Aurangzeb: Those who have been the opponents of India cannot be made an icon. Why do people who talk about Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb do not remember Aurangzeb’s brother Dara Shikoh? When Abdul Kalam Road is replaced by Aurangzeb Road in Delhi, it means no. So those who talk about our culture, we will follow it.

BJP President: We do not have the intention of sending any preacher (to BJP) for the BJP president. All organizations are independent and are free to choose their president under their process. There is no need to do anything by asking us in this.

On caste census: There should be no quarrels among themselves according to caste-fraternity in our society. When a medal comes in the sparts or if a military is martyred on the border, we do not see his religion. We are proud of them. This is harmony.

Illegal infiltration from Bangladesh: Whenever there is illegal infiltration, it is the responsibility of the government to take steps to stop it. Whether it is Bangladesh or infiltration from somewhere, we have always said that it should not happen.

On reservation of Muslims: According to the Constitution of India, reservation cannot be given on religious grounds. Baba Saheb Ambedkar also did not want this. If a government does this, then it is working against Baba Saheb’s intention. Once former Maharashtra Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde also announced reservation on the basis of religion, but later the Supreme Court did not allow it to be implemented.

On BJP’s functioning: The people of the country have told how the functioning of the BJP has been. We feel that everything is going well. If we feel something that this work should be done in this area, then we also keep our point. The rest of us are not the guardians of BJP who should tell them every day to do this.
