A heart-wrenching accident has happened in Anjav district of Arunachal Pradesh. A truck carrying laborers slipped from a dangerous mountain road and fell into a gorge thousands of feet deep. About 22 laborers died in this accident, while till now only one laborer has been rescued alive.

Workers going to project site in Arunachal Pradesh

This accident happened on Wednesday near Metengliang on Hailong-Chaglagham road. All the workers were residents of Gelapukhuri tea garden in Tinsukia district of Assam. He was going to a project site in Arunachal Pradesh to work on contract. But an accident occurred on a dangerous road with sharp turns, steep climbs and descents and deep ditches.

Deceased laborers identified

The deceased include Budheshwar Deep, Rahul Kumar, Sameer Deep, John Kumar, Pankaj Manki, Ajay Manki, Bijay Kumar, Abhay Bhumij, Rohit Manki, Birendra Kumar, Agor Tanti, Dhiren Chetia, Rajni Nag, Deep Gowala, Ramchabak Sonar, Sonatan Nag, Sanjay Kumar, Karan Kumar and Jonash Munda.
Rescue team recovered 13 bodies

The rescue team has recovered 13 bodies from the accident site. The search for the rest is ongoing. There is a lot of difficulty in rescue operations due to steep slopes, extremely difficult terrain and bad roads at the spot. Teams of police, district administration, SDRF and army are jointly conducting the operation. All the recovered bodies have been sent for post-mortem. The families of the deceased were informed. Senior officials of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh have reached the spot.

This is the path of death in remote areas

This area is known for difficult geographical conditions. Workers working on road projects related to the Indo-China border have to pass through extremely dangerous roads every day. Many times bad weather, landslides and narrow roads become the cause of accidents.

The explosion that took place in the country’s capital Delhi at around 7 pm on Monday (10 November) shook the entire city. 12 people died in this blast and initial investigation revealed that Dr. Omar, a resident of Jammu and Kashmir, was the mastermind of this attack. According to the investigating agencies, he was preparing for this incident for a long time. After the incident, agencies have continuously raided and intensified action. Under this action, terrorist Umar’s house has also been demolished with IED.

After the blast near the Red Fort, investigative agencies conducted raids across the country. Investigation revealed that terrorist Dr. Umar was behind this blast. It was also revealed that his group was planning this attack for the last two years. The police also took action against Umar’s family and detained his brother and mother.

What did Umar’s mother say during the investigation?

During investigation, Umar’s mother told that she already knew that her son had indulged in radical ideas. There was no contact with him for many days. Shortly before the blast, Omar had asked his family not to call him. However, the police was not informed about these suspicious activities of Umar by the family earlier.

Umar was a resident of Pulwama

The name of Umar, a resident of Pulwama, had come up in the investigation in the Delhi blasts. Investigating agencies also confirmed that Umar also died in the blast. Umar, a doctor by profession, was associated with a module of Jaish-e-Mohammed. Even before the blast, the police had arrested several members of Omar’s gang, from whose possession 2900 kg of explosives were recovered.

40 people were killed and around 100 injured in a stampede at the rally held on Saturday (September 27) in Karur, Tamil Nadu. After this incident, actor and political leader Vijay’s party TVK has accused the state government that the incident may be a part of DMK’s conspiracy.

Petition filed in Madras High Court

TVK lawyer Arivajgan told NDTV that the party has filed a petition in the Madras High Court. The petition has demanded setting up a special investigation team (SIT) or transferring the case to CBI. He dismissed the state government’s claim that security rules were violated at the rally.

What did TVK lawyer Arivajgan say?

Arivajgan said, “There was a conspiracy in the Karur accident. We got reliable information from the local people and also have some CCTV footage. It shows that there was a conspiracy of some workers of the state power party.”

State government made these allegations

The state government said that a crowd of people had gathered at the rally site from noon, but Vijay reached at 7 pm. The rally venue had a capacity of 10,000, but 27,000 people gathered. The state government described it as an attempt to deliberately increase the crowd. The claim was rejected by TVK lawyer and said, “The reason for Vijay’s arrival was traffic, not the party’s fault.”

Charges registered against some TVK leaders

The state government has registered a case in the rally in the rally, alleging violating security rules, in other sections including murder charges against some TVK leaders. Also, a judicial inquiry has also been ordered under the chairmanship of the retired judge of the High Court.

The reason for social media ban
The government banned 26 social media platforms because these platforms were not registering under local rules. These include large platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Redit. The government had given the time limit to the companies to register, appoint Grievance Redressal Officers, and to form a contact point.

Status so far
The demonstrations have spread rapidly in other major cities of Nepal. The government claims that the decision to remove the ban will be taken only when these platforms follow the rules. At the same time, protesters are calling it an attack on freedom of expression and demanding to withdraw it.

Bengaluru stampede rcb: RCB’s difficulties are increasing in the case of stampede at Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium. The Central Administrative Tribunal (CAT) said on Tuesday that the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is responsible for the huge crowd gathered in Bengaluru to celebrate the Indian Premier League (IPL) victory on June 4 on 4 June. 11 people were killed and many others were injured in this accident.

According to the order issued by CAT, RCB suddenly posted the celebrations on social media after winning the IPL, causing huge crowds to gather outside the stadium and the police did not get time to make necessary arrangements.

Announcement of celebration without permission
According to NDTV, the tribunal said in its order that RCB neither took any prior permission from the police nor informed them. The team suddenly shared information on social media, which led to a huge crowd of people. It was also said in the order that the police had only 12 hours, which cannot be considered enough for such a big event.

CAT defends police
CAT called the police criticism inappropriate and said, “Policemen are also humans. They are neither God, nor magicians, nor they have a lamp of Aladdin to complete any work immediately.” The tribunal admitted that the police did not have enough time due to sudden information, so they could not be convicted.

Relief to IPS officer Vikas Kumar
In this order, CAT also canceled the suspension of IPS officer Vikas Kumar Vikas. The central government suspended him two days after the accident. But the tribunal termed it wrong and said that this suspension period would be added to their service. Vikas Kumar was then Inspector General of Bangalore West Zone and Additional Commissioner of Police and was in charge of the security of the stadium.
