There is a lot of discussion these days about a mysterious comet named 3I/ATLAS on social media. This newly discovered thing is trending on many platforms. People are even posting alien memes. It was first discovered by NASA’s Atlas Telescope in Chile on July 1, 2025. Its orbit is hyperbolic, which means it will pass by and never return.

This comet was closest to the Sun on Thursday (30 October). During this time its icy surface melted due to the heat of the sun. This resulted in a shiny fuzzy coat and a long tail. 3I/ATLAS stood out from the thousands of comets observed each year. Since it is not bound by the Sun’s gravity, it is a comet from another constellation.

Lahore, Pakistan has remained the most polluted city in the world for the last three days, where the air quality has fallen to dangerous levels. The average air quality index (AQI) of the city has reached 412, in view of this, health warnings have been issued and action is being taken on pollution sources.
