Delhi ayushman bharat scheme: Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee President Devendra Yadav attacked the BJP government of the Center and Delhi over the Ayushman Bharat scheme. He said that implementing Ayushman Yojana may be a good step, but it is also necessary to fix the plight of Delhi’s hospitals.

Delhi Congress President Devendra Yadav said, “There is a huge shortage of doctors, nurses and paramedical staff in Delhi hospitals. Operation theater is closed, medicines are not available. Investigation facilities are almost negligible. The condition of hospitals created by the Congress government is worse due to the failure of the Aam Aadmi Party. Now the BJP government should take concrete steps in this direction.

Questions raised on the benefits of Ayushman scheme

Highlighting the boundaries of Ayushman Yojana, Devendra Yadav said, “So far only 25 lakh Ayushman Vandana cards have been made in proportion to the 145 crore population of the country and only 32 thousand hospitals in the whole country are connected with this scheme, out of which there are more than 14 thousand private hospitals.”

Even needy will not be able to take advantage

According to Delhi Congress leader Devendra Yadav, if someone has a two -wheeler, TV or pucca house due to difficult conditions, then he will be deprived of the benefits of the scheme. Not every needy will get the benefit of the scheme. While the BJP government is ‘beating Dindora’.

Making 1 lakh cards confusing

Devendra Yadav termed the target of creating one lakh Ayushman card in Delhi as ‘confusion’ in Delhi, saying, “More than 4 lakh people in Delhi are more than 70 years of age. In such a situation, the target of making only one lakh cards is very inadequate. If the government also includes those of the age of 60 in the scheme, the number will increase further.”

He also raised the question that if 10 percent of the people of Delhi’s population also apply for medical cover, then how will the government bear the burden of treatment of about 30 lakh people?
