He had said that no such order was shown by Vani in which NIA had rejected his demand. On this the High Court had refused to start any new process.

During the hearing, the court had said that this was not a special case. We cannot accept anything just by saying it verbally. The court had said to follow the prescribed procedure in this case. Also there was a refusal to change it for an accused. This case was sent back to the trial court, which was to be heard.

NIA had told the conspirators

The investigating agency had described Jasir Bilal Wani as an active co-conspirator of terrorist Omar Un Nabi. Wani is a resident of Kanjigund, Anantnag in Kashmir. He was arrested on 17 November. It has been alleged that he was modifying the drone and helping the terrorists. Before this he was also trying to make a rocket. He was the one who had planned the attack with suicidal Umar. The agency has clearly said that Wani is the person who played an important role in planning and executing the attack.

The arrested accused Muzammil Shakeel Ganai had used flour mill and electrical machines to prepare explosives. During the investigation, the police recovered this mill and machines from the house of a taxi driver in Faridabad, Haryana.

The NIA team has also detained the taxi driver from Faridabad from whose house these devices were recovered. The driver told that he had met Ganai about four years ago, when he had gone to Al-Falah Medical College to get his son treated.

Usama Akhtar, associated with the Trust, who is a member of the Governing Body of Al-Falah School of Engineering, is currently living in Dubai. According to her LinkedIn profile, she is involved in the interior fitting and textile business. The agencies suspect that an attempt may have been made to carry out activities in India while sitting in Dubai through financial transactions and networking.

After the arrest of Dr. Muzammil Shakeel, serious questions have been raised on the activities of Al-Falah University and the trust associated with it.
