NIA raid in Jammu and Kashmir
Earlier, NIA on Monday raided several places in Jammu and Kashmir and Uttar Pradesh as part of its investigation into the car bomb blast that took place near the Red Fort in Delhi last month. Irfan revealed that during his studies, he met a man named Hafiz Muzammil, who was a resident of Shopian. Hafiz later joined Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH) and was killed in an encounter in 2021.

Dr. Muzammil asked him to use Telegram for further conversation. After this, another person named Hashim (who claimed to be the commander of AGuH) also contacted him on Telegram.

Irfan Ahmed took Adil and Umar to Shopian

Later, on Hashim’s instructions, Irfan went to Shopian, where he first met Zameer Ahmed, who is already arrested in the case. Together they transported three terrorists – Adil, Umar and an unknown person – to Shopian.

In 2022, Dr. Muzammil introduced him to Dr. Adil Ahmed and Dr. Omar Mohammed. All of them were willing to work for AGuH, but they did not trust Pakistan. They wanted to expand a local Kashmiri terrorist organization.

Meanwhile, he met Mushtaq during Friday prayers in Masjid Ali. He was a resident of Srinagar and was arrested in the year 2022. Mushtaq had a soft attitude towards terrorists and was also associated with Hashim. Mushtaq had given a pistol to Irfan, which both of them kept on the river bank near Idgah in Anantnag.

Irfan further told that Arif Nisar Dar, who has been arrested in this case, used to come to Irfan to take Quran classes. He openly had terrorist thoughts. Irfan gave the same pistol to Arif. Arif fired one shot from that pistol in a ground near Naugam. Due to fear, Arif returned the pistol, which Irfan again returned to Mushtaq. Later Mushtaq was caught with this pistol.

In the year 2023, on the orders of Hashim, Irfan went to Cement Bridge, Noorbagh, Srinagar and took a shot-gun from Zameer Mitlashi and handed it over to two unknown people there.
