The condition of pollution in Delhi is not hidden from anyone. Many times the situation becomes such that even breathing becomes difficult. But in the month of November, not Delhi but Ghaziabad of Uttar Pradesh was the most polluted city in the country. This shocking claim has been made in a report.

The monthly average PM 2.5 concentration in Ghaziabad in November was 224 micrograms per cubic meter and the air quality remained above national standards for all 30 days. In fact, the report of think tank ‘Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air’ states that Noida, Bahadurgarh, Delhi, Hapur, Greater Noida, Baghpat, Sonipat, Meerut and Rohtak were included in the 10 most polluted cities along with Ghaziabad.

According to the report, six of these cities were from Uttar Pradesh. After that there were three places of Haryana and Delhi. Except Delhi, all other cities included in the top 10 recorded higher PM 2.5 levels compared to last year.

Delhi stood fourth

Delhi was the fourth most polluted city in November, with the monthly average PM 2.5 concentration at 215 micrograms per cubic metre, almost double the October average of 107. The city experienced 23 very bad days, six severe days and one poor day.

CREA said that the impact of stubble burning was less this year, its share in Delhi’s pollution in November was on average 7 percent, whereas last year it was 20 percent. CREA said that this year the maximum effect of stubble burning was 22 percent, which is much less than the 38 percent recorded last year.

The wind was not good as per the standards even for a day

Barring Bahadurgarh, the air in none of these 10 cities remained within the safe daily limits under national standards for even a single day. Many other cities including Charkhi Dadri, Bulandshahr, Jind, Muzaffarnagar, Gurugram, Khurja, Bhiwani, Karnal, Yamunanagar and Faridabad also recorded PM 2.5 levels above the limit every day.

Pollution increased compared to last year

CREA analyst Manoj Kumar said, “Despite a significant reduction in the impact of stubble burning, 20 out of 29 cities in NCR recorded higher pollution levels than last year and in many cities not a single day was still recorded within the NAAQS limits. This clearly indicates that the major drivers are year-round sources such as transportation, industry, power plants and other combustion sources. “Without sector-specific emissions reductions, cities will continue to violate the standards.”

More pollution in 23 cities of Rajasthan

At the state level, Rajasthan had the highest number of polluted cities, with pollution levels exceeding the national limit in 23 out of 34 cities in November. Haryana had 22 out of 25 cities where pollution levels were above the national standard, while 14 out of 20 cities in Uttar Pradesh, 9 out of 12 cities in Madhya Pradesh, 9 out of 14 cities in Odisha and 7 out of 8 cities in Punjab also reported high levels.

The air in the country’s capital Delhi has become poisonous. According to Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the air quality here remained in ‘very poor’ category on Sunday (November 23) and AQI was recorded at 391.

According to CPCB’s ‘Sameer’ app, air quality in 19 monitoring centers in Delhi was recorded in the ‘severe’ category, while the remaining 19 centers recorded an AQI of 300, which falls in the ‘very poor’ category. According to the air quality bulletin for Delhi, the air quality of Delhi may remain in the ‘very poor’ category from Monday (24 November) to Wednesday (26 November).

burning sensation in eyes

The continuously increasing standards have also increased the problems of the people. The cases of eye irritation, difficulty in breathing, cough and fever in children and the elderly are increasing rapidly. Doctors have advised people to leave the house less, wear masks and use air purifiers.

Cold increased in the capital

Talking about the weather, the cold has increased in Delhi. According to the India Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 26.7 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was recorded at 10.4 degrees Celsius, one degree below normal. The humidity level at 5:30 pm was 68 percent. However, it is believed that there may be severe cold from the last days of November and the first week of December.

How will the weather be in Delhi today?

The fog alert issued by the Meteorological Department in Delhi on Monday (24 November) has also increased the concern. Moderate fog is expected here on Monday and the maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to be 25 and 10 degrees Celsius respectively.

Let us tell you that according to CPCB standards, AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’ and 401 to 500 ‘severe’.

Delhi Police has taken tremendous action in a big 48-hour operation Cyber Hawk. Delhi Police has arrested more than 700 cyber criminals. In this action of the police, a huge network of cyber fraud worth more than Rs 1,000 crore has been exposed. A large quantity of mobiles, laptops, SIM cards, servers and digital records have been recovered from the hideouts of cyber criminals.

In this swift police action More than Rs 1,000 crore A huge network of cyber fraud has been exposed. This syndicate was making innocent people victims of its fraud not only in Delhi-NCR but all over India.

Huge amount of digital equipment recovered

Police have seized a huge amount of electronic gadgets and evidence during raids on the secret hideouts of criminals. The recovery included hundreds of high-tech laptops, thousands of smartphones, thousands of fake SIM cards, checkbooks and ATM cards. The most shocking thing is that the police have found many such private server Also seized, which were being used for data theft and illegal transactions. The police have also seized many important digital records and ledgers, which contain accounts of transactions worth crores.

How did the network work?

Preliminary investigation has revealed that this network was working in a very organized manner. These criminals were looting people’s hard-earned money through fake investment schemes, digital arrest, KYC fraud, and work-from-home scams. This money was immediately transferred to ‘Mule Accounts’ with different layers, so that the police could not track them.

Senior Delhi Police officials say that ‘Operation Cyber Hawk’ is not over yet. Interrogation of the arrested accused is going on and after the forensic examination of the recovered digital devices, the amount of this scam is expected to increase further. This action of the police has shattered the morale of cyber criminals and has given the message that those who commit crimes by hiding in the digital world will no longer be able to escape the grip of the law.

Delhi High Court has sought answers from the Central Government and Delhi Police in a case related to the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. This notice was issued on the application of Delhi Government Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa, in which he has demanded to present the old report of a police officer in the court.

Delhi government minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa says that during the riots, Kamal Nath was present at the site of violence at Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib and this is recorded in the police records. He told the court that the report submitted by the then Additional Police Commissioner Gautam Kaul to the then Police Commissioner should be included in the record.

Delhi High Court sought answers from Center and Delhi Police

During the hearing of the case in Delhi High Court, Justice Ravinder Dudeja issued notice to Delhi Police and Central Government asking them to file their reply by January 15, 2026. On behalf of Manjinder Singh Sirsa, senior lawyer H.S. Phulka said that there were clear reports published in police records and many newspapers regarding Kamal Nath’s presence. But these things have not been included in the status report of the government.

The application was filed in the court in the year 2022

This application is part of Sirsa’s main petition filed in 2022 in the Delhi High Court. In which he had demanded to investigate the alleged role of Kamal Nath and arrest him. In this case, five people were made accused in the FIR lodged at Parliament Street Police Station. It is alleged that all these accused were staying in Kamal Nath’s house. Later he was acquitted due to lack of evidence. According to the petition, during the riots, the Gurudwara was attacked by a mob and two Sikhs died tragically.

The government is planning a big sports project in the capital Delhi. In fact, sources associated with the Sports Ministry said on Monday (November 10) that the prestigious Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in the national capital will be demolished and a ‘Sports City’ will be built. Apart from all the major sports, there will also be accommodation facilities for the players.

The 102-acre area of the stadium will be completely renovated, but as of now the plan is only a proposal and hence the timeline of the project has not been decided yet. Sports cities of Qatar and Australia are being evaluated to finalize its outline.

The stadium will be demolished

The ministry source said that the stadium will be demolished. All offices located inside the stadium, including the National Anti-Doping Agency and the National Dope Testing Laboratory, will be shifted.

There will be facilities for these sports

The Sports City primarily houses a multi-sport facility with world-class infrastructure for conducting training and major events. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Sports Complex of Ahmedabad is an example of this, where facilities are available for cricket, swimming, tennis and athletics etc.

The demand that the capital Delhi should now be changed to Indraprastha has been made...

The demand that the capital Delhi should now be changed to Indraprastha has been made by Chandni Chowk MP Praveen Khandelwal. He has sent a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah saying that the history of Delhi is thousands of years old and this is the same land where Pandavas had established their capital Indraprastha during the Mahabharata period. Therefore Delhi should be called by its ancient and glorious name.

MP Khandelwal has requested in his letter that Old Delhi Railway Station should be named Indraprastha Junction and Indira Gandhi International Airport should be named Indraprastha Airport. Also, grand statues of Pandavas should be installed at some prominent place in Delhi so that the new generation can connect with the ancient civilization and culture of India. He has also sent a copy of the letter to Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.

‘Indraprastha is not a name but a soul’

Khandelwal said that Indraprastha is not just a name but a symbol of governance based on India’s soul, religion and policy. When other historical cities of the country – Prayagraj, Ayodhya, Varanasi and Ujjain – have regained their ancient identity, then Delhi should also get its real name. He said that this change is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of cultural renaissance.

‘Indraprastha Nagar was born from Hastinapur’

He told that during the Mahabharata period (about 3000 BC), the Pandavas changed their capital from Hastinapur and established Indraprastha city on the banks of Yamuna. Later this area also remained a center of trade and culture during the Maurya, Gupta and Rajput periods. During the rule of Tomar kings, it was called Dhillika, from which the word Delhi was formed.

Praveen Khandelwal says that names like Indraprastha Airport and Indraprastha Junction will present the ancient identity of India to the world and will also promote religious tourism. This will also boost employment, business and local economy.

‘Coming generations can know the name’

He said, “Delhi is not just a modern capital but is the living heritage of the pious city of Pandavas. Now the time has come that the capital of the country should get back its real name and identity so that the coming generations can know that the capital of India is not only the center of power but also a land symbolizing the tradition of religion, policy and justice.”
