The third car was Maruti Brezza, the search for which is going on. Security agencies have issued a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) alert for other vehicles, as there is a possibility that explosives may have been hidden in them too.

Investigation revealed that the attackers were going to use a mixture of ammonium nitrate and RDX. They were planning a major attack on Ram temple in Ayodhya on 25 November. Meanwhile, DNA samples were taken from the body found in the I20 car after the explosion. On the instructions of Home Minister Amit Shah, the FSL team matched these samples with the DNA samples taken from Omar’s family. Jammu and Kashmir Security Establishment said that these DNA samples were sent to Delhi and after confirming the report, it was handed over to the National Investigation Agency (NIA).
