PM Narendra Modi on Sunday (August 17) inaugurated the Delhi Section and Urban Extension Road-2 (UER-2) of the Dwarka Expressway costing Rs 11,000 crore. Delhi Minister Ashish Sood praised PM Modi for this task.

He also told how the people of Delhi-NCR will benefit through this expressway. He said that its main objective is to reduce traffic pressure in Delhi and its surrounding areas, as well as it will reduce Delhi’s pollution.

At the inauguration of the Delhi section of UER-2 and Dwarka Expressway from Rohini, Minister Ashish Sood said, “There is going to be a big change in the surrounding states of Delhi. The jam will be reduced on the way to the airport. Delhi’s pollution level will be reduced. Delhi’s life is going to facilitate the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.”

What benefits from Dwarka Expressway?

The Delhi section of the Dwarka Expressway and the Urban Extension Road-2 projects have been developed under the government’s comprehensive plan to free the capital from the congestion, which aims to-

• Connectivity
• Decrease
• Reduction of traffic jams in Delhi and its surrounding areas

The distance between Delhi and these cities will be less

When these projects are completely operational, the time of travel from Sonipat, Rohtak, Bahadurgarh and Gurugram to Indira Gandhi International Airport is expected to decrease a lot. The 10.1 km long Delhi section of Dwarka Expressway has been developed at a cost of about Rs 5,360 crore.

This section will also provide multi-model connectivity to Yashobhumi, DMRC’s blue line and orange line, upcoming Bijwasan railway station and Dwarka cluster bus depot.

Mahila samriddhi yojana launch date: On the occasion of Rakshabandhan i.e. in the month of August, the women’s prosperity scheme of Delhi government can start, under which poor women of Delhi have to get two and a half thousand rupees per month.

Giving information about this, the high sources of the Delhi government said that CM Rekha Gupta has held an important meeting regarding this, in which the nuances related to the scheme and the rules related to the beneficiary were discussed. Some meetings may be held in the coming days.

Rekha Gupta government has planned to give gifts to women on the occasion of Rakhi this year, which was the biggest election promise of BJP in the last assembly elections. The Aam Aadmi Party and Congress have been continuously questioning Rekha Gupta government regarding the delay in Mahila Samriddhi Yojana.

On the occasion of the completion of hundred days of the new BJP government of Delhi, CM Rekha Gupta was asked questions about the delay in implementing Mahila Samriddhi Yojana, he said that the process is being made for this so that once a needy woman is registered, she will continue to get benefits. It is the effort of the government that the woman entitled to the scheme comes under the purview of this scheme, that is why it is taking time.

Terms of the scheme

According to sources, the beneficiary woman of this scheme should be a resident of Delhi, whose family income can be less than 2.5 lakhs annually and the age limit can be 21 to 60 years. Women who are getting government money or pension from any other scheme will not get the benefit.

Sources say that in the case of joint families, husband and wife and children will be considered a family unit. That is, more than one woman in joint families will also be entitled to two and a half thousand rupees every month.

Information related to ration cards etc. is also being collected to prepare the account of the beneficiaries. The process of registration of beneficiaries will be started after the rules are approved.

Twenty to twenty -two million women can get benefits

Sources believe that twenty to twenty two million women can get the benefit of this scheme. In March, the Delhi government allocated Rs 5100 crore under the head of this scheme. On the one hand, there is a challenge to fulfill its breathtaking promise in front of the government, while financial health has to be taken care of.
