More than 1.2 million followers on Instagram, smiling pictures with film stars, religious leaders and leaders, luxury cars and a luxurious life, but behind this glamor lies a name which has now given sleepless nights to the investigating agencies.

This is the name of gangster Inderjit Singh Yadav alias Rao Inderjit Singh, in search of whom ED conducted massive raids in Delhi, Gurugram and Rohtak. What came to light after this raid that lasted for 48 hours shocked everyone.

Cash counting done by cash counting machine

In this major action of ED, so far Rs 6.34 crore cash, gold-diamond jewelery worth about Rs 17.30 crore, 5 luxury cars, property related documents worth Rs 35 crore, bank locker, digital devices and huge amount of digital data have been seized. To count such a huge amount of cash, ED cash counting machine had to be called on the spot.

Meanwhile, the presence of gangster Inderjit Singh Yadav on social media has raised the most questions. He has more than 12 lakh followers on his Instagram profile. Where he introduces himself in the name of Rao Inderjit Singh.

Access and influence to high profile people

On this profile, he is seen with big film stars, religious gurus and leaders. From which his reach and influence can be estimated. The surprising thing is that when ED raids were going on at the places of him and his close ones. During the same time, he also posted continuously on Instagram.

In one post, Inderjit Singh Yadav is seen raising questions on the system while claiming himself to be innocent. He wrote that he was the murderer of that financier-goon-police nexus, who was robbing businessmen with the help of fear and threat.

Gurugram: The real estate market of Gurugram is growing rapidly. The situation is that buying a house here is now becoming beyond the reach of the middle class. In real estate too, there has been a huge increase in the sales of luxury houses or apartments in the premium segment in recent years.

Investment in the luxury real estate market of the city has increased to Rs 88000 crore from Rs 45000 crore last year. A major reason for this growth is projects like Dwarka Expressway, which has improved its connectivity with Delhi-Noida.

How much should be the savings?

According to a Business Today report, Sameer Singhai, Founder, SuperAcreage, says, “If your family income is not at least Rs 2.5-3 lakh per month, then Gurugram is not for you. According to him, to buy a home in Gurugram in 2025, one generally needs a double income family earning Rs 2.5 lakh to Rs 5 lakh per month, with savings of around Rs 80 lakh to Rs 1 crore. And home loan should be between Rs 3 crore to Rs 5 crore.

He also says that Gurugram was never built for average earners. Gurugram is gradually emerging as the corporate capital of North India. Especially, there are many big MNCs and BFSI companies here. Professionals from many other cities are coming here to live and buy houses. Apart from this, due to rapid improvement in infrastructure like DLF Cyber City, Metro connectivity, demand for property is increasing here.

Increasing demand for luxury homes

According to the latest report of Anarock Research, about 42 percent of the houses supplied in Delhi-NCR during this period were in the luxury and ultra-luxury segment, which shows people’s desire to lead a higher quality and better lifestyle.

Major micro-markets of Delhi-NCR—Dwarka Expressway, Southern Peripheral Road and South of Gurugram (Sohna)—remained on top in the choice of homebuyers. The main reasons for this are rapidly developing infrastructure, better connectivity, availability of large plotted and high-rise housing options and strong potential for capital growth in the long term.

Flats are being sold at a rapid rate

According to a CBRI report, both home sales and new launches in India’s residential market have crossed the 2 lakh units mark during January–September 2025. During this period, an annual growth of 97 percent has been recorded in the sales of luxury apartments, which reflects the growing confidence and strong demand for high quality premium homes. This demand in Gurugram has been boosted by the completion of important infrastructure projects like Dwarka Expressway and Urban Extension Road-II, which have significantly improved connectivity and accessibility.

Better infrastructure, stronger connectivity and active participation of end-users have boosted confidence in planned projects and enabled their faster absorption. Looking towards 2026, this growth is expected to continue.

Congress Party’s Lok Sabha MP Vamsi Krishna Gaddam reached Parliament House with an electric bike. He told that the level of air pollution in Delhi is high, hence he came to Parliament using an electric bike. According to the MP, this electric bike runs for about 100 kilometers on a charge of just Rs 20. ‘RG’ was written on the bike.

Its price is said to be around Rs 1 lakh. Vamsi Krishna Gaddam said that in view of pollution, attention should be paid to the use of electric vehicles. There was discussion in the Parliament premises regarding his initiative. While talking to the media, the Congress MP told that he has made this bike himself and has also taken all the permissions related to it.

Hearing in Supreme Court on pollution tomorrow
The Supreme Court on Monday said it will hear on December 17 a petition related to worsening air pollution levels in Delhi-National Capital Region (NCR). A bench of Chief Justice (CJI) Surya Kant, Justice Joymalya Bagchi and Justice Vipul M Pamcholi considered the arguments of senior advocate Aparajita Singh, who is assisting the court as amicus curiae. Singh said that unless this court gives any direction, the officers do not follow the already existing protocol.

CJI commented
On this the CJI said, ‘This matter will come before a bench of three judges on Wednesday. There will be a hearing on this. Another lawyer, citing an application related to health issues of children, said that despite earlier orders, schools are organizing outdoor sports activities. The amicus curiae also said, ‘Despite this court order, schools have found ways to organize these sports activities…these activities are taking place. CAQM (Commission for Air Quality Management) is once again citing this court order.

AQI crossed 400
On Monday, Delhi remained wrapped in a blanket of dense smog, due to which the Air Quality Index (AQI) reached 498, which falls in the ‘severe’ category. The air quality was ‘severe’ at 38 centres, while it was ‘very poor’ at two centres. Jahangirpuri recorded an AQI of 498, which was the worst air quality center among all the 40 centres.

Former IPS officer Kiran Bedi had appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to deal with the increased pollution in Delhi-NCR. The next day, i.e. Saturday (November 29, 2025), he criticized the ways of dealing with the pollution crisis. He said that government officials should come out of the sanitized meeting rooms and see the reality of smoke-filled roads.

Kiran Bedi has also shared a blueprint regarding the problem of Delhi pollution. The former IPS officer termed the deteriorating air quality of the national capital as a public health emergency on social media platform X. Kiran Bedi said that governance cannot be remote-controlled. It must stand in the dust, breathe the same air and work diligently.

Kiran Bedi had made this appeal to PM Modi

This statement of Kiran Bedi comes a day after she made a public appeal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in which she appealed to PM Modi to personally intervene and lead efforts to reduce air pollution in Delhi. He had said, ‘Sir, please forgive me for my repeated request, but I have seen your extremely effective Zoom sessions during my tenure as Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry. How you motivated everyone to work in a timely manner and meet the national challenges and everyone was excited to meet the deadlines and set targets. He said that the Prime Minister’s participation in this critical problem will give confidence to the citizens.

He said in his ex-post, ‘If all the agencies play their respective roles with leadership, visibility, continuity and coordination, then air pollution in Delhi-NCR can be effectively controlled.’

Kiran Bedi’s plan to deal with pollution in Delhi-NCR

Demanding a paradigm shift in the way air pollution in Delhi and NCR is tackled, former IPS officer Kiran Bedi shared her blueprint, which she described as a well-thought-out and responsibly thought-out plan, which includes,

To ensure strict compliance of national standards and fuel rules by MoEFCC.

To ensure uniform guidelines for CAQM across NCR.

PMO to coordinate between all major ministries.

Chief Ministers, Chief Secretaries and Director Generals of Police of the states should lead the effective implementation of the rules.

The District Magistrate should lead the field execution on daily basis.

Municipal bodies, police and pollution control boards are involved in ensuring waste management, dust control, traffic management and industrial compliance.

Grape-3 was removed from Delhi NCR. After improvement in the air, the Air Quality Management Department has implemented this decision on Wednesday (26 November). For this reason, the restrictions of Grape-3 were lifted with immediate effect. This decision has been taken after improvement in air quality.

Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) i.e. GRAP-3 was implemented due to increasing pollution in Delhi-NCR. CAQM removed GRAP-3 in Delhi NCR. Along with this, the restrictions imposed under GRAP-1 and GRAP-2 will continue. Now after the decision of this relief, restrictions on many things will be removed.

There are restrictions on these things in Grape-3

After implementation of GRP-3, BS-3 petrol and BS 4 diesel vehicles are banned.

No vehicle is used during this period.

Along with this, there is a complete ban on building construction.

Builder projects, road construction and other construction projects are also completely banned.

As soon as the rules of Grape 3 are implemented, construction work is stopped at all places except the most essential projects like airport, hospital, elevated road and STP plant projects.

Roads are cleaned every day, water sprinkling is done regularly. At the same time, the dust and debris emanating from construction and demolition is properly disposed of.

This is how the steps of grapp are implemented

The first phase of GRAP is applicable at any place when AQI remains between 201 to 300. After this, the second phase is applicable when AQI remains between 301 to 400. The third stage is implemented when AQI is 401 to 450.

When the AQI exceeds 450, the fourth phase of GRAP is implemented. After the implementation of Grap-4, the restrictions are the highest and most stringent. Let us tell you that after the implementation of Grap-4, trucks, loaders and other heavy vehicles are not allowed to enter Delhi in the capital.

However, vehicles supplying essential commodities are allowed entry. During this period, all types of construction and demolition works are banned. State governments also decide on online classes for school students and work from home for government and private offices.

In view of the increasing pollution levels in Delhi-NCR and the Air Quality Index (AQI) which has reached dangerous levels, the Supreme Court has asked the Commission of Air Quality Management (CAQM) to consider giving instructions to carry forward sports activities in schools. While hearing on Wednesday (November 19, 2025), the Supreme Court said that the sports activities and competitions to be held in Delhi-NCR in November-December should be postponed for the time being and scheduled for later, so that the AQI improves by then.

According to the report of Live Law, Advocate Aparajita Singh told the court that sports activities and competitions are to be held in many schools of Delhi-NCR in November, while the AQI has reached a very poor condition.

A bench of Chief Justice Bhushan Ramakrishna Gavai and Justice K Vinod Chandran was hearing the case. Advocate Aparajita Singh told the bench that children are the most vulnerable and organizing sports competitions at such a time would be equivalent to putting them in a gas chamber. On their arguments, the court has directed CAQM to consider the sports competitions.

According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), till 9 am on Wednesday, Delhi’s AQI was 392, which falls in the very poor category. On Tuesday, AQI was 314 at 7 am and 374 was recorded at 4 pm. With this, the air quality in Delhi remained in ‘very poor’ category for the sixth consecutive day.

Data from CPCB’s ‘Sameer’ app also revealed that 18 out of 38 monitoring centers have recorded AQI levels in the ‘severe’ category. Centers located at Chandni Chowk, DTU, Bawana, Anand Vihar, Mundka, Narela and Wazirpur have recorded AQI above 400. According to CPCB, AQI between 0 to 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’ and 401 to 500 ‘severe’.

Talking about the weather, the minimum temperature was recorded at 10.2 degrees Celsius which is 2.1 degrees less than the average. The maximum temperature is likely to be around 26 degrees Celsius. India Meteorological Department said that the relative humidity has been recorded at 97 percent at 8.30 in the morning.

Delhi-NCR Real Estate: The real estate market of the country is growing rapidly. Property prices are increasing rapidly in Delhi-NCR also. There is also huge demand for commercial space here. According to a report by CII and CBRE, about 50 lakh square feet of new Grade A is expected to be supplied in the next two years. The industry has been waiting for this change for a long time.

Let us tell you that in the real estate sector, such projects come under Grade A category, which are built by good and renowned builders, whose quality is good, these projects are built with better locations and all the modern facilities.

Changing thinking of companies

The real estate infrastructure of Delhi-NCR is changing as many new development projects are getting ready like the opening of Dwarka Expressway, rapid progress of work on Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, construction of Noida International Airport, RRTS, Peripheral Expressway Connector, increasing scope of Metro etc. That is, as connectivity is becoming stronger, the thinking of companies regarding Delhi-NCR is also changing. Since moving from one place to another is now becoming easier than before due to better connectivity, the chances of companies getting capable talent from far away places or any part of the city are also increasing.

Demand for workspace is increasing rapidly

Another report by Cushman and Wakefield states that 2.5 times more office space was taken on lease in the property market of Delhi-NCR during July-September, which was due to higher demand for premium workspace among corporates. In the third quarter, 3.79 million (37.9 lakh) square feet were leased, which was 1.52 million (15.2 lakh) square feet even a year ago. During the July-September quarter, Delhi-NCR’s share in the office space taken on lease in eight big cities of the country was 23 percent.

A major decision has been given on Monday (November 17, 2025) on the matter of banning construction work amid increasing pollution in Delhi and National Capital Region (NCR). The Supreme Court has rejected the suggestion to stop all construction work in Delhi. The court said that a large number of people will be affected by this. Instead of taking such steps, we have to think about long-term solutions. CAQM takes appropriate steps according to the pollution situation.

The court asked the central government to hold a meeting with the governments of Punjab, Haryana, UP and Rajasthan and give suggestions on long-term solutions to deal with the air pollution crisis, so that a permanent solution to this problem can be found. For this the court has given one day’s time to the government. In the hearing to be held on Wednesday (November 19, 2025), the court also sought an affidavit regarding whether the equipment being used to monitor pollution in Delhi is capable of this.

Court said that balance has to be struck between environmental concerns and development

A bench headed by Chief Justice of India (CJI) BR Gavai on Monday (November 17, 2025) said that the court is not in favor of issuing strict directions to curb the rapidly increasing pollution levels in Delhi, as the court cannot take the place of experts. The court said that it is necessary to strike a balance between environmental concerns and development.

Central government will have to take the lead – Supreme Court

While hearing the case, the Supreme Court has reiterated that it cannot take the responsibility of Delhi’s pollution management every year and the basic responsibility in this matter lies with the Central Government. The court said that the livelihood of millions of families depends on construction and all related sectors, hence imposing a blanket ban can have serious social and economic consequences.

These days the air in Delhi-NCR has become so poisonous that even breathing is becoming difficult. Since Diwali, the pollution level has remained around 300 per day, which is considered very bad for health. This poisonous air has caused many diseases to people, which include shortness of breath, sore throat, chest pain etc. However, the eyes are facing the most problems. The number of eye patients in hospitals has increased so much that there are long queues. Hundreds of people are reaching big hospitals in Noida, Ghaziabad, Delhi and Gurugram every day with complaints of burning sensation, itching, redness and watering of eyes.

Doctors said this

Doctors say that dust, smoke, chemical particles and poisonous gases present in the air are very harmful for the eyes. These can damage the upper layer of the eyes i.e. the cornea and with prolonged exposure can also damage the retina. Earlier, eye patients used to come less. However, now the situation is such that more than half of the patients are coming to OPD due to pollution. Dr. Anand Verma, head of the eye department of a big hospital, said that earlier there used to be complaints of burning sensation for a few days after Diwali, but this time the pollution is so much that 300-400 patients are coming every day with only eye problems. These include children, old people and young people.

Why is there a problem due to pollution?

Dr. Verma said that pollution contains many types of gases like nitrogen dioxide, sulfur dioxide and particulate matter (PM2.5). All these enter the eyes and cause irritation. Many people’s eyes become so red that it becomes difficult to see. Some people experience so much itching that repeated rubbing leads to infection. As soon as children return from school, they start crying that their eyes are hurting. The elderly already have weak eyesight. Now pollution has made their condition worse.

How are eyes affected by pollution?

Doctors say that small particles present in the air absorb moisture from the eyes, due to which the eyes remain dry. This causes burning, itching and redness. If the eyes are rubbed repeatedly, bacteria can enter and infection can occur. Some people are also suffering from allergies, due to which water keeps flowing from the eyes. Staying in such an environment for a long time can also cause serious diseases like cataract or glaucoma.

protect your eyes like this

Leave the house less: Try not to go out in the morning and evening, because pollution is highest at that time.

Wash eyes frequently: Wash eyes with clean cold water 2-3 times a day. This removes dust and particles.

Drink plenty of water: Keep drinking water throughout the day, so that the body and eyes remain hydrated.

Wear sunglasses: While going out, wear good quality sunglasses or protective glasses, which protect from UV and dust.

Keep hands clean: Wash hands thoroughly before rubbing eyes, otherwise infection may occur.

Eat vegetables and fruits: Eat green vegetables, fruits like carrots, spinach, orange, which contain vitamin A and C. These make the eyes stronger.

Put eye drops: Use lubricating eye drops as per doctor’s advice, which provide moisture to the eyes.

Must wear a mask: Wear an N95 mask, which blocks dust and particles.
