The police investigation has reached an important juncture in the case of alleged suicide of 3 people in Peeragarhi area of Delhi. In this case, Delhi Police has identified the person who was present in the car at the time of the incident, in which the bodies of two men and a woman were found. According to the police, in the CCTV footage, a person dressed as ‘Baba’ is seen sitting in the car, which is being considered an important link in the investigation. Let us tell you that this incident came to light on February 8 near Peeragarhi flyover, where all three were found dead in a closed car.

Presence of ‘Baba’ revealed through CCTV footage

According to police officials, during the investigation of CCTV cameras installed in the area, it was found that a person was in contact with the three deceased before the incident and was also sitting inside the car. This person is now at the center of investigation, whom the police is identifying as ‘Baba’. According to PTI, police are trying to find out what was the role of this person and why and how he met the three on the day of the incident. However, the police say that the exact cause of death can be confirmed only after the forensic and post-mortem reports are received. At present the investigation of the case is going on from all aspects.

PCR call and incident situation

According to Delhi Police, the police control room received a call around 3.50 pm on Sunday, in which it was informed that three people were sitting in a car near Peeragarhi flyover, the doors were closed and there was no response from inside. As soon as the information was received, the police team reached the spot, where two men and a woman were found dead inside the car. Investigation revealed that the car was standing at the spot about 50 minutes before the police were informed. Initial investigation did not reveal any indication of any external conflict, due to which there is a strong suspicion of suicide.

Identification of the dead and claims of the family

Police have identified the deceased as Randhir, 76, resident of Baprola, Shiv Naresh Singh, 47, and Lakshmi Devi, 40, resident of Jahangirpuri, who are said to be originally from Bihar. Based on initial indications, it is suspected that all three may have consumed soft drinks laced with poison. The relatives of the deceased say that while leaving the house, all three were completely normal and happy and there was no mention of any kind of tension or problem. The family is shocked by this incident and is raising questions on the theory of suicide.

In the Delhi blast case, Aamir has been sent on 10-day police remand by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) court. The court said that Aamir was involved in this conspiracy and his inquiry is necessary. During remand, the agency will collect all the information related to the blast from the accused and will investigate other aspects of the case.

NIA had arrested accused Aamir Rashid Ali in the case of car blast that took place on November 10 in Red Fort area of Delhi. The accused alleges that he had conspired with alleged suicide bomber Omar Un Nabi to carry out the blast. Aamir is a resident of Samboora, Pampore in Jammu and Kashmir and the car in which the IED was blasted was registered in his name.

NIA found important evidence

NIA has caught Aamir by raiding in Delhi. Investigation revealed that Aamir had specifically come to Delhi to buy a car for the blast, which was later converted into a vehicle bomb (VBIED). Forensic investigation also confirmed that the deceased driving the car was Umar Un Nabi. Umar was a resident of Pulwama and was an assistant professor at Al-Falah University, Faridabad, Haryana.

What did Aamir’s family say?

Aamir’s family told that he works as a plumber and his brother Umar is an electrician. The family says that Aamir had never gone to Delhi, only the car was in his name. NIA has also seized another car of Omar and its thorough investigation is going on. So far, the agency has recorded the statements of 73 witnesses and the injured, and is also analyzing technical and digital evidence.

The explosion near Red Fort metro station in Delhi has shaken the capital. Delhi Police has intensified the investigation regarding this blast. In the initial investigation, the police have found some important clues which seem to link this entire matter to Jammu and Kashmir.

It is being told that the I20 car in which the blast took place was earlier in the name of a doctor from Pulwama district of Kashmir. Police have started searching for the current owner of this vehicle and people associated with it.

Picture of the suspect surfaced

Delhi Police has received important footage from CCTV cameras installed around the blast site. In the footage, a suspicious person is seen entering the parking area with an I20 car and then coming out after some time.

According to investigators, the suspect was alone at the time of the incident. He waited in the parking lot for about three hours and then took the car out. At that very moment there was an explosion.

The suspect went towards Daryaganj

With the help of the footage, the police is now tracing the route of the suspect. Preliminary investigation has revealed that after the car left, it went in the direction of Daryaganj. The police team is now scanning the CCTV footage of Daryaganj and the route beyond. Overall, recordings have been taken from more than 100 cameras so far. These also include cameras of nearby toll plazas and highways so that the complete movement of the suspect can be traced.

Case registered under UAPA and Explosive Act

The Special Cell of Delhi Police has registered a case in this matter under Sections 16 and 18 of UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act), which are sections related to terrorist activities. Along with this, many sections of Explosive Act and Indian Justice Code (BNS) have also been imposed. This is a clear indication that the police is viewing this blast as a terrorist conspiracy.

Kashmir connection

Investigation has revealed that the vehicle in which the blast took place was sold to a person named Tariq from Pulwama. Now Jammu and Kashmir Police has detained Tariq from Pulwama and his interrogation is going on. The original owner of the vehicle, Dr. Omar Mohammad, who is a resident of South Kashmir, is also being interrogated.

Doctors Adil and Muzammil, who were detained from Faridabad and Saharanpur, are also being interrogated. The police is trying to find out from them whether they have any direct or indirect connection with the blast.

Forensic team investigation at the spot

After the blast, the forensic team has collected samples of explosive material from the spot. Investigating agencies are trying to find out what type of explosive was used in the blast. At present, preliminary investigation has indicated that the explosion was of low intensity but was carried out in a planned manner.
