There has been a big lapse in the security of the Red Fort. Before Independence Day, the Special Cell of Delhi Police reached inside the Red Fort with dummy bomb during the mock drill. Seven policemen on duty have been suspended immediately due to security lapse.

The police has sent Bangladeshi citizens to the detention center. Now, in view of August 15, the security system of the Red Fort has been increased.

Police also increased strictness in the sky

Delhi Police has banned flight of sub-traditional air platforms such as paraglider, hang-glider and hot air balloon in the capital till 16 August due to security reasons. Before the Independence Day program, the Delhi Police has also issued an order regarding this. The order states that para-motor, hang-clider, UAV, UAS, microlite aircraft, remote aircraft will be banned till August 16. Security reasons have been cited in the order.
