The political uproar in Delhi has once again intensified over the controversial slogan ‘Modi teri kabr khudegi’ against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Jaipur City Mahila Congress District President Manju Lata Meena not only reiterated her statement given yesterday (December 14), but also clearly said that she will not apologize at any cost.

He had given this statement in the Congress’ Vote Chor-Gaddi Quit Rally. Manju Lata Meena says that this slogan is an expression of public anger and she still stands by her words and will not apologize.

Tremendous anger over theft of votes – Manju Lata

Manju Lata Meena, while talking to ANI in Delhi, said that there is tremendous anger among the public regarding the theft of votes. According to him, BJP has allegedly formed governments by rigging votes and the Election Commission is also working at the behest of the government.

He said that the Constitution has given the right to vote to the citizens, but when the same vote starts being stolen then the importance of the Constitution is lost. He also said that today people have come here from every corner of the country and this proves that the public is standing against vote theft. According to him, this protest is a fight to save democracy.

PM Modi has distracted us from the issues till date – Manju Lata

Justifying her statement, the woman Congress leader said that Prime Minister Modi does not talk about employment, youth, women and farmers. They allege that till date neither sufficient jobs have come nor big recruitments have taken place. He said that PM Modi works to divert attention from real issues. He also took a dig at the Bhajan Lal government in Rajasthan and said that the government has been formed through the slip system. Due to this resentment, she gave a slogan and even today she says, ‘Modi, your grave will be dug, if not today then it will be dug tomorrow.’ According to him, this is political criticism and it is the job of the opposition to bring the truth before the public.

Apology refused, slogan repeated again

When she was asked that such words were against the political culture, Manju Lata Meena clearly said that she stood by her statement. He raised the slogan again and said, ‘Modi, your grave will be dug if not today then it will be dug tomorrow, vote chor gaddi chhod.’ He said that BJP’s job is to criticize, whereas his job is to bring out the truth. He also added that the public is upset with this government and this anger is visible in his words. Manju Lata Meena finally said bluntly that she will not apologize, because this statement represents the public sentiment.

In Delhi on Sunday, the Congress Party organized a mega rally in the name of Vote Chor Gaddi Chhod Ke at Ramlila Maidan. In this, Congress National President Kharge, Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi along with many big and senior leaders of the party were seen. During this, Rahul Gandhi took the Election Commissioner to task. In his speech he made serious allegations against the Election Commission.

Rahul said that the Election Commission is no longer working as an independent and impartial institution. Taking decisions together with the government. During this, Rahul took the names of many election commissioners. He said that all this is part of the same fight in which efforts are being made to suppress the truth.

He said that if Congress comes to power, the law will be changed. Election Commission officials will be made accountable. Rahul said, “You are the Election Commissioner of India, not of Narendra Modi.”

Rahul Gandhi targets RSS

Rahul Gandhi targeted RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. He said that today the real struggle is going on in the country between truth and untruth. My speech was already planned but on the way I got information that Mohan Bhagwat had given a statement in Andaman and Nicobar. After hearing his statement, I changed my entire speech. The foundation of Indian culture and all religions is based on truth.

Quoting Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Rahul said that truth is the greatest value. But RSS’s thinking is opposite to this. Truth has no importance in the ideology of Mohan Bhagwat and RSS. There only power and authority are kept supreme.

Home Minister Amit Shah cornered on vote theft

Rahul Gandhi also targeted Home Minister Amit Shah on the issue of vote theft. He said that he had no answers to my questions. The government had no answers to the questions I had asked in the presentation. That’s why Amit Shah was trembling in Parliament.

He said that the fight going on in the country today is between power versus truth. They have power, we have truth.
