“South Side Story” at KD Jadhav Wrestling Hall of Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium on 30 and 31 August 2025 in Delhi , The South Indian Food and Music Festival is being organized. Due to this, traffic diversion and ban have been imposed in the areas around the stadium which will be applicable from 11 am to 10 pm.

During this time, traffic systems will be changed so that security and ease can be ensured. The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory about this and informed the people about this.

According to traffic police, ITO Marg, Vikas Marg (MNM Road) and Ring Road , Heavy vehicles and buses will not be allowed to enter from Rajghat to IP depot (both Carriageway). There is an appeal to passengers to select alternative routes and use public transport to save time.

Admission and parking system in stadium

The entry in the stadium will be from gate numbers 16, 17, 18, 21 and 22.

Limited parking facilities are available for label vehicles.

It will be mandatory to clearly display the parking label on the vehicle.

Vehicles without valid labels will not get admission near the stadium.

Will have to reach the parking lot via MNM Road.

Ban on parking of normal vehicles

No parking will be allowed from Rajghat to ITO flyover on Ring Road (both Carriage Way).

The incorrectly parked vehicles will be removed and the challan action will be taken.

Janakpuri of West Delhi is the much talked about District Center and a unilateral flyover passing in front of it, which comes in the way from Najafgarh to Tilak Nagar, is going to start repairing Ram. Because of this, the traffic department has issued advisory for the general public. Police have said that this flyover has been completely banned on this flyover for the next one month from today (2 August).

DCP (West Traffic) Dhirendra Pratap said that repairing work will be done only in the upper part of the flyover. Therefore, the paths on both sides of the flyover will be open. Work is being done by coordinating with PWD. He said that for the least inconvenience to the people, traffic police personnel and Marshal will be constantly posted on the spot.

The police have planned to install signage and indicators along with additional deployment of traffic staff in the entire area to prevent jam. Every day millions of people go through this route. In such a situation, the temporary captive of this flyover can have a direct impact on the traffic of the capital.

The main Tajiya procession will pass through Chitli tomb, bangle waln, Matia palace, Jama Masjid, Chawdi Bazaar and Hauz Qazi and will return from the same route. Another procession will come out of the old police post, Ashok Basti, Qutub Road, Khari Baoli, Lal Kuan, Hauz Qazi, Chawdi Bazaar and Jama Masjid. It will also return by its path.
