Delhi University (DU) has invited applications for the posts of Associate Professor and Professor. Candidates who want to work as Associate Professor or Professor in DU can apply online by visiting the official website of DU www.du.ac.in.

A total of 56 posts will be appointed in this recruitment, in which 35 posts are reserved for Associate Professor and 21 posts are reserved for Professor. Interested candidates can apply till October 21, 2025. Candidates can also apply for this recruitment through the steps given here.

What should be the qualification?

For Associate Professor post, candidates must have a PhD degree from a recognized Indian university. Also, there should be at least 55 percent marks in graduation. Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of eight years of experience in the academic field. Even for the post of Professor, it is mandatory for the candidates to have PhD degree. Also, there should be at least ten years of experience in the educational field.

How much is the application fee?

The application fee has been fixed differently according to the category of the candidates. It is Rs 2,000 for general candidates, Rs 1,500 for OBC, EWS and women candidates, Rs 1,000 for SC and ST candidates and Rs 500 for physically handicapped candidates.
