The fourth installment of Dhamaal, another popular franchise from Bollywood, is going to be released on the big screen. Actually, we are talking about Ajay Devgan starrer ‘Dhamal 4’ which is one of the much awaited releases of the year. It will hit the theaters this Friday i.e. on 10th July.

Advance booking has recently started for limited shows of Ajay Devgan’s multi-starrer film ‘Dhamaal 4’. However, the total number of shows is not known yet. But according to the report of Koimoi, about 3 thousand 900 shows have been listed. It is expected that the film will get more than 9 thousand shows across India.

• Along with this, let us tell you that according to the report of SACNL, 17 thousand 843 tickets have been pre-sold for the first day of ‘Dhamal 4’ till 2 pm on 8th July.
• Due to which the film has earned Rs 45.47 lakh.
• The collection of advance booking with block seats has been Rs 1.89 crore.

At present this is considered a good speed. However, the thing to note is that now only two days are left for the release of the film, hence it will have to show tremendous growth and try to cross the figure of Rs 3-4 crore in pre-sales.

‘Dhamal 4’ is the installment of the popular franchise ‘Dhamal’, so to get off to a good start it will have to collect Rs 3-4 crore (gross) on the first day in pre-sales. If it does such advance booking, then its opening of more than Rs 12 to 13 crore (net) at the Indian box office is certain. However, the real figures will be known only after the release of the film.

He also honestly admitted that even after so many years in the film industry, he still feels nervous before the release of every film.

When the media asked Ajay during the trailer launch whether the box-office pressure before the film’s release affects him, the actor answered honestly without any hesitation. He said, “A little bit is always there. You have worked so hard, so the film should be liked by the audience and should work. That’s why the effort is to make the film in such a way that people like it. So when the film is being released, everyone feels some pressure.”

Why are sequel films doing well?
Why are sequel films doing well in Bollywood? In response to this question, Ajay Devgan said, “I think a sequel works only when people like its characters. Take this (Dhamaal 4), take Golmaal. They know the characters by name. Once the audience connects with the characters, only then we can take the story forward.”

The journey of Dhamaal started with the release of the first film in 2007. After which its sequel ‘Double Dhamaal’ came in 2011, in which only the characters of the first film made a comeback. The third film came with the name ‘Total Dhamaal’. Ajay Devgan entered this franchise and it was equally successful at the box office. All three films were commercially successful.
