Fans are eagerly waiting for the fourth installment of Ajay Devgan’s popular franchise ‘Dhamal’. The trailer of ‘Dhamal 4’ was also launched on Friday. The entire star cast of the film had arrived on this occasion. During the trailer launch, Ajay Devgan talked about why sequel films are doing so well in Bollywood and why people like to watch films that are part of the series. He also honestly admitted that even after so many years in the film industry, he still feels nervous before the release of every film.

Does Ajay get nervous before the release of every film?
When the media asked Ajay during the trailer launch whether the box-office pressure before the film’s release affects him, the actor answered honestly without any hesitation. He said, “A little bit is always there. You have worked so hard, so the film should be liked by the audience and should work. That’s why the effort is to make the film in such a way that people like it. So when the film is being released, everyone feels some pressure.”

Why are sequel films doing well?
Why are sequel films doing well in Bollywood? In response to this question, Ajay Devgan said, “I think a sequel works only when people like its characters. Take this (Dhamaal 4), take Golmaal. They know the characters by name. Once the audience connects with the characters, only then we can take the story forward.”

About Dhamaal Franchise
The journey of Dhamaal started with the release of the first film in 2007. After which its sequel ‘Double Dhamaal’ came in 2011, in which only the characters of the first film made a comeback. The third film came with the name ‘Total Dhamaal’. Ajay Devgan entered this franchise and it was equally successful at the box office. All three films were commercially successful. Now its much awaited fourth installment ‘Dhamal 4’ is going to be released in theaters on 10th July.
