BCCI has included Dhruv Jurel in the ODI team against New Zealand as a replacement for Rishabh Pant. BCCE further said, “He was immediately taken for an MRI scan and the BCCI medical team discussed his clinical and radiological reports in detail with an expert. Pant has been diagnosed with a side strain (oblique muscle tear) and hence has been ruled out of the ODI series. The men’s selection committee has included Dhruv Jurel in the squad in place of Pant, and Jurel has joined the team.”
