Harish Shankar said that both the films are coming one day, but the target audience of both the films is very different. He said that Ustad Bhagat Singh gives mass-action entertainment while Dhurandhar 2 gives a spy-thriller experience. He said that he wants to make such a film which the audience likes, that is why he is not worried about the clash of the films.

Talking to Gulte.com, he said, ‘Aditya Dhar is a brilliant filmmaker. I have seen Uri. He is very impressive. We have Telugu audience. Both are films of different genres. But this film is completely different from Dhurandhar 2.
