Diesel Blending: There is a lot of uproar going on across the country regarding blending of ethanol in petrol. Many people have complained that their cars are breaking down due to this petrol. However, the government has not taken any decision to withdraw it. Amidst all the protests and complaints, the government is now preparing to introduce adulterated diesel after petrol. Just like E20 has come in the market, similarly B5 is also going to come by the year 2020.

What percentage will be the adulteration?
Actually, after E-20, the government is now preparing to introduce B-5 fuel soon. This will be adulterated diesel, just as E-20 petrol has been made by mixing 20 percent ethanol in petrol, in the same way this B-5 diesel will be made by mixing 5 percent biotic in 95 percent diesel. The government says that it can be used without any modification in the engine.

How will biodiesel be made?
According to the information received from Indian Oil, this diesel will be made from Jatropha and Karanjia. Both of these are vegetable oils which cannot be used in food or drink. In such a situation, with their help good quality biodiesel will be produced. The government has already made and tested it on biodiesel, which has also been successful. Extensive testing has been done by mixing 5 to 10 percent with the help of Haryana Roadways, Railways, Tata.

pollution will be controlled
The objective of making this biodiesel is the same as the government’s objective regarding E-20. The government wants that dependence on other countries regarding oil is not right. In such a situation, domestic production would be more appropriate. Apart from this, pollution will also be controlled with the help of this fuel. The target of E-20 has been achieved before the scheduled time. In such a situation, the government also plans to introduce biodiesel by the year 2030.

Cheap Diesel: After giving cheap petrol, now the Indian government is preparing to give cheap diesel to the public. Indian Government Minister Nitim Gadkari himself has said this. Nitin Gadkari recently said during an address that now cheap diesel will also be made in India on the lines of cheap petrol. Just as ethanol is being used in making petrol, similarly Isobutinol will be used in making diesel.
