Digvesh was banned in IPL 2025

In IPL 2025, Digvesh Rathi’s ‘Notebook Celebration’ became a topic of discussion. In a match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, he did a ‘notebook celebration’ after taking the wicket of Abhishek Sharma. With this action, he violated the rules of IPL, due to which he was banned for a match. Along with this, he was also fined 50 percent of the match fees.

Digvesh rathi fined: In IPL 2025, even 15 matches have not been completed yet that the players are constantly being fined. Till now Hardik Pandya and Ryan Parag had to pay a fine of Rs 12 lakh due to slow-over rate. Now Lucknow Super Giants leg-spin bowler Digvesh Rathi has been fined 25 percent of the match fee.
