BJP has targeted TMC in the matter of giving land to the army in West Bengal. Dilip Ghosh, minister in the West Bengal government, said that CM Shubhendu Adhikari has given approval for the fencing, whereas the Mamata government was banning it. Speaking to reporters, Dilip Ghosh, a minister in the West Bengal government, said that Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh repeatedly appealed to the government to give the land. Amit Shah had made efforts to get 500-600 kilometers of fencing installed, still 300-400 kilometers are vacant. Our government gave permission for this on the very first day. Land will be made available in 45 days. Talks are going on with BSF. Where the fencing work was stopped, it will start from tomorrow.

He said that the previous government had not given land to BSF, due to which the condition of the border is very bad. Suvendu Adhikari has given approval for fencing on the very first day he became the Chief Minister of West Bengal. Now after the fencing, the neighboring country will not be able to secretly come to Bengal and there will be peace in West Bengal.

Preparation for strict action against infiltration

Dilip Ghosh said that Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had held several meetings with former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee regarding the land and had sent the funds on the very first day, yet the government did nothing. The government used to bring outsiders through this route and misuse them during elections, but now this is not going to happen, the West Bengal government will close all those routes through which people from neighboring countries enter India wrongly.

Demand to tighten quality checks

On the continuous issue of adulterated food items in the country, Minister Dilip Ghosh said, “The prices are increased from time to time, but the quality should also be checked. Many complaints are being received regarding the quality of milk and it is not being checked properly. Many types of chemicals are being mixed in it. This is a health related matter, so both quality and quantity should be maintained properly. The government should also pay attention to this matter.
