This will be the second foreign T20 league for Dinesh Karthik. He has earlier been a part of SA20’s team Parl Royals in South Africa. For Royals, he scored 97 runs in six innings. Karthik is also the batting coach of IPL 2025 Champions Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

In RCB, Karthik worked closely with Tim David of Australia, one of the foreign players of Sharjah Warriors. He also played 257 IPL matches. During this, he scored 4842 runs.
