Iran’s Consul General in Mumbai, Saeed Reza Mosyeb Motlagh has reacted to the peace agreement between America and Iran. He said that Iran has always been a supporter of dialogue and diplomatic solutions and if the current disputes are resolved through dialogue, it will be a positive step for both the countries.

He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always welcomed talks and dialogue. In such a situation, if the problems are solved through dialogue and the challenges are reduced, then Iran will welcome it.

America under siege over nuclear club membership
Saeed Reza Mosayeb Motlagh said that Iran has been recognized as one of the member countries of the global nuclear club in the past, but the US has repeatedly created obstacles to this recognition for various reasons.

He alleged that America kept stopping this process from moving forward by raising new issues every time. However, he said that if the status of this membership becomes more clear now, it will be a positive development for Iran.

Serious allegations against Israel
Regarding Israel, the Iranian Consul General said that Israel opposes any kind of negotiation and agreement. He alleged that Israel adopts a policy of violence, war and creating crisis to achieve its objectives.

He said that the world has seen this behavior openly in the last two and a half years, but it is nothing new. According to him, massacres like Sabra and Shatila have been examples of this in history also.

Motlagh said that even at present Israel is trying to weaken the dialogue process and turn it towards war.

America was also held responsible
The Iranian diplomat said that America and Israel have very close relations. In such a situation, the responsibility for Israel’s actions and its consequences also falls on America.

He said that America has accepted this responsibility under its various international obligations and commitments, hence it should also face its consequences.

‘Israel wants to derail the talks at every opportunity’
In response to another question, Saeed Raza Mosayeb Motlagh said that Israel’s policy has always been to promote war and violence. He said that Israel’s violent activities have never stopped. In the last two years, these activities were visible openly, while at times they were also carried out behind the scenes. According to him, Israel uses every opportunity to disrupt the dialogue process and make it fail.

Doubt expressed on America’s intentions
The Iranian Consul General said that Iran understands well the close relations between America and Israel. Despite this, America has made some commitments and it should stick to them. However, he said that given historical experiences, especially the two recent wars, Iran cannot completely trust America’s intentions.

‘Iran negotiated in good faith’
Motlagh said that despite all the doubts, Iran has participated in the negotiation process with full goodwill. He said that Iran started negotiations honestly and has reached initial results in the same spirit. Now it is expected that the same goodwill will continue in the future and within the stipulated time frame the talks will be successful and turn into a comprehensive and final agreement.

India Iran Talks: Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi on Wednesday called his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar and discussed various aspects of the ongoing crisis in West Asia. Two days after Syed Abbas Araghchi’s visit to Moscow, he had a phone conversation with India’s Foreign Minister S Jaishankar.

Giving information on social media, S Jaishankar said that this evening he received a call from Iran’s Foreign Minister Syed Abbas Araghchi. He said that various aspects of the current situation were discussed in detail and both sides agreed to remain in touch.

Iranian Embassy issued statement

The Iranian Embassy in New Delhi said the two sides discussed and exchanged views on latest developments related to the ceasefire, bilateral relations as well as regional and international issues. It is believed that the situation arising out of the US blockade and restrictions imposed by Iran on the movement of ships through the Strait of Hormuz is also believed to have been mentioned in the conversation. The Iranian Foreign Minister visited Moscow after visiting Oman and Pakistan as part of diplomatic efforts to end the Iran-US war.

Unsuccessful round of peace talks between America and Iran

The first round of peace talks between Iran and America held in Islamabad on 11 and 12 April was not successful in ending the conflict. Last Tuesday, US President Donald Trump indefinitely extended a two-week ceasefire with Iran to give Tehran more time to prepare a unified proposal to end the war. The war began on February 28 when the US and Israel jointly attacked Iran, killing Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and several top commanders.

US Iran Peace Talks in Pakistan: A major diplomatic turn has emerged amid the Iran-America war. The leader who opposed this war from the very beginning is now going to assume the most important responsibility of ending it. US Vice President JD Vance has reached Islamabad, where the eyes of the whole world are on his talks with the top leaders of Iran. This dialogue can not only make the ceasefire permanent, but can also change the impact on the global economy and oil market.

JD Vance becomes Iran’s choice

According to Reuters reports, JD Vance has been specially selected to lead these talks. It is being told that a section of Iran’s leadership has considered him an acceptable face for talks. In Iran, Vance is considered the most ‘anti-war’ among the people close to the US President. This is why Tehran feels that he is the most suitable representative for talks.

Will meet top leaders of Iran

JD Vance will soon meet Speaker of Iran’s Parliament Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi. This will be the highest level face-to-face talks between Washington and Tehran since 1979. During this time, Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and President’s son-in-law Jared Kushner will also be present with him.

Doubt on handshake

Given the long-running tension between the two countries, it is not clear whether the leaders will shake hands or not. However, it is hoped that further escalation of tension will be avoided during the talks, because the impact of this war has proved to be very costly on the global economy.

Trying to balance the American delegation

There is a balance between power and ability to negotiate in the American delegation. JD Vance has political influence, which is considered important for such negotiations. In Iran his image is being seen as a potential ‘peace negotiator’. However, there is a lack of trust in Iran regarding Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner. Iranian officials believe that both of them were responsible for the breakdown of previous talks and that they chose the military path instead of diplomacy.

Vance was in favor of ending the war

JD Vance is considered a leader more interested in ending the war rather than strategy. Iranian negotiators feel that Vance is a sensible and balanced negotiator who will try to reach a conclusion. According to reports, J.D. Vance has been one of the most consistent critics of his own administration’s policies, particularly regarding the war.

This conversation is taking place at a time when a two-week fragile ceasefire is in force in the Middle East. This is being considered a rare opportunity for peace. Analysts believe that if these talks are successful, JD Vance’s popularity may increase significantly. He is also being seen among the possible contenders for the 2028 presidential elections.

US President Donald Trump had recently said that Iran wants a compromise, but after this a strict statement has come out from Iran’s side. Iran’s military advisor Mohsen Rezaei has clearly said that this war will continue until all his conditions are met. He told that Iran is not going to back down. Rezaei said Iran needs full compensation for its losses, all economic sanctions should be lifted and an international guarantee that the US will not interfere in their affairs in the future.

Military advisor Mohsen Rezai adopted a strict tone and said that this time the answer will not be the same as before. He said that this would not be an eye for an eye but a head for head response and the opponents would have to leave the Gulf area. Razai also said that Iran’s army is acting with full force and continuous operations are being carried out to maintain pressure during the war.

Former IRGC commander Mohsen Rezaei:

If Trump attacks Iran’s infrastructure, it won’t be an eye for an eye anymore, it will be an eye met with a head, a hand, and a foot. America will be crippled! pic.twitter.com/w3wrcUaypS

The war increased because of Benjamin Netanyahu – Iran

Rezai claimed that the war could have ended a week earlier because the US was prepared for it, but Benjamin Netanyahu pressed for the fight to continue. According to him, America has now understood that there is no clear path to victory in this war. On the other hand, Trump has said that America is in talks with a senior leader of Iran and Iran wants to make a compromise. He told that US representatives Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have also talked to an Iranian leader, although he did not reveal the name of that leader. Let us tell you that on February 28, America and Israel had launched massive attacks on Iran, which started the war.
