The batsman played a shot off the ball of Prince Surendra Thakur of Bilaspur, in which he ran for single. The batsmen also wanted a second run but then he saw that the ball was in the hand of the fielder and did not run for the second run, while Sameer had run for another. Sameer had reached the other end and the ball came into the hands of the wicket keeper.
