On the very first day of the week, there was a tremendous decline in the stock market. The Sensex declined by about 3000 points, while the Nifty also fell by more than 900 points. Investors have lost about ₹ 15 lakh crore due to this heavy fall. The banking sector, midcap and smallcap stocks were the highest pressure. The Nifty Bank index declined by about 4%, while Nifty Midcap saw 4% decline in 4% and Nifty Small CAP by more than 5%. This decline has become a matter of concern in the market and is time to be cautious for investors.
