BJP leader’s complaint

After this incident, BJP official Dhananjay Wagskar lodged a formal complaint against Pawar. Vagaskar says that Rohit Pawar has done the work of disturbing public peace and spreading confusion among the people. Based on his complaint, Mumbai Cyber ​​Police has registered a case against the website creator, user and owner including Pawar. According to the investigating agencies, this act is considered to endanger social security.

Under which sections the case was registered

Police have imposed many serious sections in this case. The case has been registered under sections 336(2), 336(3), 336(4), 337, 353(1)(B), 353(1)(C), 353(2) of BNS and section 66(C) of the IT Act. There is a provision for both punishment and fine under these sections. The investigating officers are also looking into this entire episode to see if any political or digital network has played a role in making fake Aadhaar cards. Police say that forensic investigation of digital evidence is going on and further action will be taken soon.
