All nippon airways: The flight from Tokyo, Japan to Houston created panic when a passenger tried to open the exit gate of the aircraft in the air itself. Due to this, the flight had to be turned towards Seattle at that time. This information has been given by the Bureau of Investigation (FBI). The incident occurred on Saturday (May 24, 2025) in the flight 114 Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner of All Nippon Airways (ANA).

The FBI said in a statement that the person was stopped by co -passengers and crew. CNN said that soon after the aircraft landed in Seattle, the person was taken to a nearby hospital for investigation.

Flight in the air for about 10 hours
The flight flew from Haneda Airport in Tokyo and was to land at the George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. Data of flight tracking platform flight awareness showed that the aircraft remained in the air for about 10 hours before landing at Seattle at 4 am (local time).

‘Flight was sent from Houston to Seattle due to passenger disturbances’
Port of Seattle spokesperson Chris Guizlo told CNN that the police was called after the passenger reported to attempt to open exit gate of the flight. He said that no one has been injured in this incident. A spokesman for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said that the flight was sent from Houston to Seattle due to passenger disturbances. According to the FBI, the second passenger also punched the bathroom door at the airport.

The passenger was removed from the aircraft due to misbehavior. The FBI said that no allegations have been made regarding the incident. The airline said that the flight reached Houston at around 1 pm.
