what doctors say?

Despite the increasing cases of Kovid, experts believe that the situation is not yet worrisome. According to Dr. Ujjwal Prakhar, Chest Medicine Specialist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi, Kovid is now behaving like a common viral infection. Earlier the symptoms of covid were severe such as taste and loss of odor, but now its symptoms are limited to normal viral infections such as cough, cold and fever. Dr. Ujjwal said that due to weak immunity in the elderly and children, the danger can be higher than the infection or any other infection, especially among those who are already suffering from other diseases.

Director General of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), Dr. Rajiv Bahl also said that the sub-workers (LF.7, XFG, JN.1, and NB.1.8.1) of Omikron, which are currently spreading, are not serious.
