Adani Group is now going to play a big bet in India’s defense sector. The company has planned to invest ₹1.8 lakh crore by 2026, in which the focus will be on future warfare. Drones, autonomous systems, AI and precision weapons will be the core of this strategy.

Adani Defense & Aerospace has now moved beyond planning to rapid deployment mode in 2025 and some military hardware was also used in Operation Sindoor.

The company is working on unmanned systems (air, sea, land), advanced guided weapons, sensors, AI-based multi-domain operations, MRO and training infrastructure. Adani Defense has become the country’s largest private defense player with Drishti UAVs, counter-drone systems, Agnikaa loitering munitions and ARKA MANPADS.
