Social media influencer and Bollywood socialite Ori, whose real name is Orhaan Avtramani, is in the headlines these days. Anti-Narcotics Cell (ANAC) had summoned him for questioning in the Rs 252 crore drugs case, on this occasion his attire became a topic of discussion.

Now Ori said that her clothes were not for fashion or to attract attention, but it was a way of showing her honesty and clarity.

What did Ori say about your outfit?

Speaking to IANS, Ori said, “I had chosen my clothes very thoughtfully. I was also wearing a black thread sent by my guru. My attire during interrogation reflects my honesty and truthfulness.

He also shared memories with IANS. Ori said, “When I was in ‘Bigg Boss’, Salman Khan had advised me that I would probably never get this much fame again, so when the fame subsides, never do anything crazy to get attention. Always remain dignified. I tied the knot on this and now when this news related to drugs came out, I felt a little fame again. Although, this fame came for the wrong reasons, but I also experienced it.”

On November 26, Ori had recorded his statement at the Ghatkopar office of the Anti-Narcotics Cell.

What is 252 crore drugs case?

The drugs case worth Rs 252 crore started from March last year. In Sangli district of Maharashtra, the police had caught an illegal factory manufacturing Mephedrone drugs. During this action, a large quantity of drugs were recovered, whose value in the foreign market was around Rs 252 crore.

Investigation revealed that the factory owners are the main accused Suhail Shaikh and Tahir Dola. Both used to organize rave parties in India and abroad. Mephedrone and other intoxicants were supplied in these parties. The police is now busy finding their entire network.

Mumbai Police’s Anti Narcotics Cell has summoned Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor’s brother Siddhant Kapoor in a drugs case worth Rs 252 crore. He has been summoned to ANC’s Ghatkopar unit to record his statement on Tuesday. Sources said that the ANC has also sent a second summons to Ori and he has been asked to come to the ANC Ghatkopar unit on Wednesday.

Actually, Salim Shaikh, the accused arrested in the drugs case worth Rs 252 crore, had taken the names of many Bollywood celebrities in his statement. According to sources, Sheikh had told in his statement that Ori and Alisha Parkar, nephew of underworld don Dawood Ibrahim, are good friends. The accused had claimed that he had earlier organized drug parties in the country and abroad with Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddharth Kapoor, Zeeshan Siddiqui, Ori alias Orhaan, Abbas Mastan, Loka and many other persons.

Summons was sent to Ori
Earlier, Mumbai Police had also sent summons to Ori and asked him to appear at the Ghatkopar unit of Anti Narcotics Cell on 20 November 2025 at 10 am. But Ori had sought time from Mumbai Police. Ori’s lawyer had informed the police that Ori would not be able to come for questioning on 20th November. He will be able to come before the investigating agency for questioning only after November 25. In such a situation, now a second summons has been issued to Ori.

Nora Fatehi had reacted
Nora Fatehi reacted when her name came up in the drugs case. She wrote on Instagram- ‘For your information, I do not go to parties. I am working continuously. I don’t have any personal life. I don’t associate myself with such people. If I take leave, I like to spend time at my home in Dubai or with close people. I feel like my name is an easy target. But I will not let all this happen again.

‘People are throwing mud in my name…’
Nora further wrote- ‘People tried to ruin me, told lies but nothing worked. When people were throwing mud on my name. I was keeping quiet. But now keep my photos and name away from matters with which I have nothing to do. This could prove very costly.

Police sources also said that those involved in this drugs network (buyers or sellers) used Zengi, Signal, Trima, Instagram and FaceTime to communicate with each other. Sources also claimed that all the people associated with Bollywood and politics who were named by Sheikh will be called for questioning.

The fifth accused arrested in this case, Mohammad Salim Mohammad Suhail Shaikh, has made a sensational revelation during interrogation. Sources said that during the interrogation of Shaikh, it has come to light that he organizes drug parties in the country and abroad and also supplies drugs in those parties.

Investigation has also found that Sheikh had earlier described Dawood Ibrahim as his sister’s son. He has alleged that he had organized drug parties in the country and abroad with Alisha Parkar, Nora Fatehi, Shraddha Kapoor and her brother Siddharth Kapoor, Zeeshan Siddiqui, Ori alias Orhaan, Abbas Mustan, Loca and many celebs. The accused has also claimed that he himself had supplied drugs to these celebs and others by attending those parties.

Answers to these questions will have to be found in further investigation.
The investigation will find out whether any drug smuggler had organized a party for these celebrities or others in the country or outside the country and whether the people whose names have come up in the investigation have any connection with any other drug smugglers or not. Did the drug parties organized earlier involve international drug traffickers and if so, how? Where and how did the above named people get the money for these drug parties? Investigation will be done to know the answers to all these questions from these celebrities and the accused.

Accused Mohammad Salim Sheikh is the ‘coordinator’ of the drugs case.
Let us tell you that the police is considering the accused Mohammad Salim Shaikh (35), who was arrested in the Mephedrone (MD) drugs case worth Rs 252 crore in Mumbai, as the ‘coordinator’ of this entire network. Salim Shaikh is accused of overseeing a drug network spread from Mumbai to Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana.

Background of Salim Shaikh
Salim Shaikh’s name first surfaced when the Mumbai Crime Branch arrested a woman with 741 grams of MD drugs in February 2024. During interrogation, the woman revealed that these drugs came from factories linked to Salim Shaikh and his network. On this clue, the police came to know about a chemical factory in Sangli, from where 122.5 kg of MD and drug making chemicals were found, the value of which was said to be around Rs 245 crore.

Police investigation revealed that this entire network was running on the instructions of absconding drug mafia Salim Dola. Salim Shaikh was a close and trusted associate of Salim Dola. According to the police, Sheikh’s responsibility was to coordinate the peddlers and factories spread in different states of the country.

Deep relationship with Dola family
Salim Shaikh is not just an employee but is considered an active member of the Dola gang.

• Salim Dola: Leader of the network, currently suspected to be in Turkey.
• Tahir Dola: Son of Salim Dola.
• Kubbawala: Nephew of Salim Dola.

Interpol had issued Red Corner Notice (RCN) on these three. Tahir and Kubbawala were already caught in UAE, while now Salim Shaikh has also been deported from Dubai and brought to Mumbai.
