Residents of Kashmir and Ladakh will have to face severe cold for the next one week, Meteorological Department Drought of the weather for the next five days (dry) and cloudless (cloudless) Estimated to stay. According to Meteorological Center Srinagar, the weather in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh will remain mainly dry till December 5 and there is no major possibility of heavy rain or snowfall. The weather will remain completely dry till December 3.

Cold and dry weather will continue till December 4. After this, there may be a change in the weather on 4th and 5th December, especially from the evening of 4th December, it is likely to be cloudy in most parts. Light snowfall may also occur in some high altitude areas.

MeT Said that after December 4, the minimum night temperature is expected to increase by about 1 to 2 degrees Celsius, which may provide some relief from the cold. There is no possibility of any major disturbance or instability in the weather during this entire period and the situation will remain stable in most parts of the valley and Jammu region.

6 Estimate after December

From December 6 to December 10, the weather will be mild to generally cloudy throughout the Union Territory. Similar weather is likely to prevail on 11th and 12th December also.

Light to moderate fog is expected at many places in Kashmir division and some parts of Jammu division, especially during night and morning hours. The Meteorological Department has advised local people to take extra caution while traveling in areas with poor visibility.
