These include seats under different categories. 1439 seats of General category, 2136 seats of OBC, 1092 seats of SC, 1528 seats of ST, 1248 seats of EWS, 1263 seats for disabled candidates, 246 seats for Sikh community and 242 seats for Christian students are still vacant. That is, there is still a chance for students of different classes, the only condition is that today the process of admission will have to be completed.

How many students registered?

DU Admission Dean Prof. According to Hetet Gandhi, 12,210 candidates have so far registered for the on-the-spot mop-up round. Students have been shortlisted on the basis of their priority, merit and availability of seats. Those who have received a call from the university, they will have to go to the concerned college today. If a student does not report at the scheduled time, then his admission will be automatically canceled.

Delhi University has already made it clear that this is the last round. If a student loses this opportunity, he will not get another opportunity to admission in graduation. That is, those who have waited till now, they will have to complete the process today without delay.

Special cutoff also released in NCWEB

A special cutoff list will also be released for admission in BA and B.Com program today by DU’s Non -Collection Women’s Education Board (NCWEB). A total of 2800 seats will be admitted under this list. Of these, about 1000 seats are vacant for BA program and about 1800 seats are vacant for B.Com program. This will be another golden opportunity for students who want to take admission in these courses.

When will the last date for admission and fee deposit?

The admission process will run from 30 September to 2 October 2025, based on special cutoff. After this, colleges will have to approve admission by 3 October. At the same time, the last date for filling the fees has been fixed at 4 October 2025 at 11:59 pm.

The university has opened the mid-entry application window for graduation admission 2025 today, August 8 at 5 pm. This special opportunity is for those candidates who could not apply earlier or whose application was canceled for some reason. Candidates can apply by visiting the official website ugadmission.uod.ac.in by 10 August at 4:59 pm.

DU has started this process to fill the vacant seats, which are left after the initial round. The university will also release the list of these vacant seats at 5 pm today. These candidates will get a chance under mid-entry

Third round schedule also released

Under the third round of Delhi University, allotment results of the first round of performance-based programs (eg music, theater etc.) will be released on August 13. At the same time, the results of CW (Children/Widows of Armed Forces), ECA (Extra Curricular Activities) and sports quota will be declared on August 15. Selected candidates will be able to accept their seat between August 13 to 18, while colleges will have to check and approve the application by August 18.

The process of admission in undergraduate courses at Delhi University (DU) is now moving towards the final round. The university has released its second seat allotment list for the academic session 2025-26. In this list, those students who could not get their favorite colleges and courses in the first phase.

Allocation of 24 thousand seats

In this phase, DU has allocated 24,843 seats against about 8,000 vacant seats. DU’s strategy is that no seats in colleges remain vacant in later rounds, so more students are being allotted in the initial stages. According to DU’s admission Dean Professor Heten Gandhi, now additional seats will not be allocated in the coming rounds.

So far, more than 87 thousand seats have been distributed

A total of 87,335 seats have been allotted so far, while DU has a total of 71,624 seats available. This figure is freeze, upgraded and new allocations. The special thing is that out of the students who had opted for “upgrade” in the first round, 27,314 students have now got a college or course of their choice. At the same time, 17,922 students have freeze their seat, that is, they will not seek any other option.

Students can accept their seat by 30 July.

Now the chance of mid -entry and third round will come

After the second round process, DU will release a new list of vacant seats. After this, students will be able to organize their college/course priorities again.
