Today is a very important day for thousands of students who dream of studying in Delhi University (DU). This is the last occasion of admission in UG Courses for the academic session 2025-26. The university has made it clear that this is the last chance to complete the admission process in on-the-spot mop-up round. Whatever students will lose this opportunity, they will not get a chance again.

How many seats are vacant?

According to the data released by DU, a total of 9194 seats are vacant even after the Mop-up round-1. These include seats under different categories. 1439 seats of General category, 2136 seats of OBC, 1092 seats of SC, 1528 seats of ST, 1248 seats of EWS, 1263 seats for disabled candidates, 246 seats for Sikh community and 242 seats for Christian students are still vacant. That is, there is still a chance for students of different classes, the only condition is that today the process of admission will have to be completed.

How many students registered?

DU Admission Dean Prof. According to Hetet Gandhi, 12,210 candidates have so far registered for the on-the-spot mop-up round. Students have been shortlisted on the basis of their priority, merit and availability of seats. Those who have received a call from the university, they will have to go to the concerned college today. If a student does not report at the scheduled time, then his admission will be automatically canceled.

If you miss today, you will not get a chance again

Delhi University has already made it clear that this is the last round. If a student loses this opportunity, he will not get another opportunity to admission in graduation. That is, those who have waited till now, they will have to complete the process today without delay.

Special cutoff also released in NCWEB

A special cutoff list will also be released for admission in BA and B.Com program today by DU’s Non -Collection Women’s Education Board (NCWEB). A total of 2800 seats will be admitted under this list. Of these, about 1000 seats are vacant for BA program and about 1800 seats are vacant for B.Com program. This will be another golden opportunity for students who want to take admission in these courses.

When will the last date for admission and fee deposit?

The admission process will run from 30 September to 2 October 2025, based on special cutoff. After this, colleges will have to approve admission by 3 October. At the same time, the last date for filling the fees has been fixed at 4 October 2025 at 11:59 pm.

Graduation (UG) Admission in Delhi University (Delhi University – DU) has brought big news for the students waiting for 2025. DU has released CSAS Spot Round 1 Admission Schedule. This is a golden opportunity for the students who have not received admission in any college till now.

When will the registration start?

Registrations for Spot Round 1 will start from 25 August. While the results of the allocation will be declared at 5 pm on August 26. Candidates who get seats will be able to apply by August 27. The entire process will be online on the official website admission.uod.ac.in.

Who can apply?

• This time only those candidates can join the spot round who applied for CSAS UG admission but have not enrolled in any college till 24 August.
• They have to go to their dashboard and choose the “spot admission” option and select their categories and colleges/courses of choice from there.
