The date of December 19 is considered very important in the field of astronomy. On this day, interstellar comet 3I/ATLAS will pass through its closest point to the Earth. This is a historic occasion for scientists and astronomers, as it is the first interstellar body to enter our solar system so far. Before this, only two such objects had been seen, which had reached our solar system while traveling from another constellation.

This incident is also special because such objects give direct information about the world outside the solar system. This journey of 3I/ATLAS is providing scientists a rare opportunity to understand the mysteries of the universe.

What is 3I/ATLAS and how was it discovered?

3I/ATLAS is an icy interstellar comet, which was discovered on July 1, 2025. It was observed with the help of the ATLAS telescope system located in Chile. After studying its movement and speed, scientists confirmed that this comet is not a part of our solar system, but has reached here from some other constellation. Normal comets keep revolving around the Sun, but interstellar comets do not follow this rule. They pass straight through and then exit the solar system. 3I/ATLAS will also come near the Sun for some time and then return to interstellar space forever.

How close to Earth will 3I/ATLAS pass?

According to astronomers, when 3I/ATLAS will be closest to Earth on December 19, it will still be at a distance of about 1.8 astronomical units. This distance is equal to approximately 27 crore kilometers. This is almost double the average distance between the Earth and the Sun. This simply means that the Earth is not in any kind of danger from this comet. It will pass at a completely safe distance. For this reason, scientists will be able to study its behavior and structure without any worry.

Why is 3I/ATLAS so important for scientists?

The importance of 3I/ATLAS lies in its rare origin. As it approaches the Sun, the Sun’s heat causes gas and dust to escape from its icy core. This process is called sublimation. The particles released during this time are very valuable for scientists. By studying these gases and dust, scientists will try to understand what kind of chemical elements are present in other constellations and how the planets might have formed there. This comet seems to be a sample from another star world, which helps us understand the diversity of the universe.

Will the general public be able to see 3I/ATLAS?

This comet will not be visible to the naked eye, but its observation will be possible through modern telescopes and space observatories. A bright coma and faint tail have been seen around it in images taken by the Hubble Space Telescope and other space missions. Common people interested in astronomy also have a chance to see it. The Virtual Telescope Project will broadcast this rare event live, allowing people to watch this interstellar visitor from home.

Why is it important to study interstellar comets?

3I/ATLAS will exit the solar system after some time and will never return. Therefore scientists have limited time to understand it. The data collected during this period will prove useful in studies like the evolution of the solar system, structure of comets and comparison of different constellations. For this reason, 3I/ATLAS is being considered not just an astronomical phenomenon, but an important step towards understanding the universe.

At present the temperature is increasing very fast. Global warming is believed to be the reason for this. Meanwhile, a shocking thing has come to light in the report of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO). According to this, between the years 2025 and 2029, the average temperature of the Earth is expected to be more than 1.5 °C compared to the years 1850-1900. Not only this, at least one year in the next 5 years is likely to be hotter than the hottest year till date, 2024.

According to the report, in the year 2024, the global average temperature had increased by 1.5 °C for the first time. This means that the 1.5 °C limit set by the Paris Agreement has now been temporarily exceeded.

Temperature will increase every year
The WMO report also provides that the average temperature may increase by 1.2 °C to 1.9 °C per year during 2025-29. Also, there is a possibility of heat in the Arctic region being three-four times stronger than the global average. Scientists say that every year an increase of 0.1 °C in temperature is considered dangerous, because it increases incidents like heatwave, drought, melting of snow and rise in sea level. In this way, increasing heat is increasing the risks to human life, agriculture, water resources and eco-system.

What does it mean for India-South Asia?
The report also emphasizes that the impact of heat may become more intense in areas like India and South Asia. Incidents like excessive rain, heatwave and glacier melting are going to increase rapidly here, which may impact farming, availability of water and people’s lifestyle. For this reason, scientists have appealed that people should pay attention to green energy. Plant as many trees as possible.

There is a lot of discussion these days about a mysterious comet named 3I/ATLAS on social media. This newly discovered thing is trending on many platforms. People are even posting alien memes. It was first discovered by NASA’s Atlas Telescope in Chile on July 1, 2025. Its orbit is hyperbolic, which means it will pass by and never return.

This comet was closest to the Sun on Thursday (30 October). During this time its icy surface melted due to the heat of the sun. This resulted in a shiny fuzzy coat and a long tail. 3I/ATLAS stood out from the thousands of comets observed each year. Since it is not bound by the Sun’s gravity, it is a comet from another constellation.

3I/ATLAS Third comet to pass through our solar system
Traveling at speeds of more than 60 km per second, 3I/ATLAS is the third interstellar object ever to pass through our solar system. Earlier, Oumuamua was seen in 2017 and 2I/Borisov in 2019. Scientists all over the world have their eyes on this comet. Scientists are constantly monitoring this to improve space security. After passing close to the Sun, it will now come closest to the Earth on 19 December 2025.

Many unsolved mysteries of the universe may be revealed
According to NASA, the behavior of this comet can reveal many unsolved mysteries of the universe. This comet was discovered by the Atlas Telescope of the American space agency NASA. It has become a mystery to scientists due to its rare properties, such as ant tail and abundance of carbon dioxide.

there is no danger of it colliding
According to NASA, even after passing close to the Sun and the Earth, there is no danger of it colliding. Earlier, there were comets Oumuamua and 2I/Borisov coming from outside the solar system. However, comet 3I/ATLAS quickly came into the hands of scientists.
read this also

The precious metals (gold, silver, diamond, platinum) and gems on the Earth are considered quite prestigious due to their excessive price. Even though these are rare on our planet, there are many places in the universe, where these gems are found in more quantity than the earth.

From the rare elements present on the moon to the exploitation of asteroids and comets located near the Earth, many people have speculated that man can eventually exploit these resources of space. This can also reduce the cost and time of future space operations. Currently they have been seen only through space telescopes and spectroscopy techniques.

This week will pass through the Earth and Moon asteroid
This week, asteroid 2005 yu55 will pass between the Earth and the Moon. Experts say that this asteroid is unlikely to hit our planet, yet it is being seen as an unlikely source for mining resources. According to NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, 2005 YU55 is classified as C-type asteroids, usually made of substances such as hydrogen and helium.

Diamond planet discovery
Earlier this year, the discovery of a planet was announced, which is mainly made of carbon and so dense that a large part of it may be made of diamonds. The international team of astronomers who carried out this discovery told Science magazine that they believe that this planet is slightly heavier than Jupiter, but is 20 times more dense.

Diamond is a slightly closer Titan than the planet, which is the largest moon in Saturn and is 1.2 billion to 1.7 billion miles from the Earth. Titan is unique in the solar system for two reasons. It is the only moon that is dense and has stable fluids on its surface and hundreds of lakes have been found on the surface by the Cassini spacecraft.

Where is 20 trillion dollar gold present
Writer John S., in his book Mining the Sky: Untold Riches of the Estteroids, Comities and Planets. Lewis consider deeply on the possibilities of reaching these resources in space. He has highlighted 3554 asteroids called Amun. Under its lower surface, there is a probably 20 trillion dollar gold, $ 8 trillion iron and 6 trillion $ cobalt and 6 trillion dollars platinum.

Have you ever thought what will happen if humans can get out of the earth on the other side. It seems fun to think of this in childhood, but in reality it seems as easy as this imagination seems impossible. In such a situation, let us tell you today whether according to the technique of modern geology and engineering, it is easy to get out of the earth to the other and how much obstacles can come for it.

Impossible to dig the ground on the other side of the earth

According to the information of modern geology and engineering, it is currently technically impossible to reach the other side from inside the earth. The big reason for this is that the structure of the earth is made of three major layers. The top of these layers is the crust which is only 5 to 70 kilometers thick. The second layer is after the crust, it is a thick layer of heavy rocks that flow very slowly. The third layer inside the earth is the core, made of liquid and solid metal. Its temperature reaches 2500 to 5200 ° C. In this way, the deeper the earth we will dig, the more the pressure of the above layers will increase. This pressure makes the walls unstable during excavation. Due to which piercing inside the earth can also prove to be dangerous.

Is it easy to pierce with drilling technology

Instead of digging the earth directly, scientists use drilling. This drilling technique was also used in Russia’s Cola Superdeep Borhole. This bore hole is considered the world’s deepest drilling project. However, it went to only 12.2 km. Which took almost 20 years. Even after this, it could not reach the mantle, because the temperature, high pressure and the boundaries of equipment stopped this effort. Actually, the broken parts of drilling machines have to change at all times and as the depth increases, the length of the pipe increases so much that it becomes impossible to bend or pull it. Apart from this, the magma and fluid metals present in the layers of the Earth can emerge suddenly to cause large explosives.

Can you dig the earth in the future and get out of the other side

Experts believe that if technology progresses a lot, we can probably drill further depth. Some scientists think that if state -of -the -art equipment and excessive heat tolerant machine is formed, it can be technically possible to reach the core. However, making hole across the whole earth is just imagination.

Earth Core Gold Discovery: How much gold is inside the earth and how does it come out? No one has the answer. Constant research is done on this and new revelations are made. Meanwhile, this has revealed in the research of a German university, which you will be shocked to read.

Scientists at the University of Gottingen have revealed that when the volcano erupts, the precious metals like gold and ruthenium present inside the earth with its lava come out and reach the surface of the earth. For this research, scientists had studied the lava that came out after the Kilautha and Loihi volcano erupted, after which this thing has come to light.

Billions of tons of gold treasure present inside the earth

According to research, about 30 billion tonnes of gold may be present in the core of the earth, which is an estimated price of about 2.77 trillion euros. However, only very minor parts reach the surface. According to the researchers, these subtle leaks show a glimpse of the layers of the earth which are considered to be the richest and most difficult access layer so far. According to Mathius Wilbold involved in this research, ‘We are talking about very subtle marks, not the lumps here.’

Can gold be removed from inside the earth?

Scientists say that the current technology is not so capable that gold or other metals can be mined directly from the core of the earth, but this study is very important in understanding the structure of the earth and the natural processes going on within it for billions of years.

How did you get a clue of getting gold inside the earth?

For this research, scientists studied the basalt rocks of the oceans. These rocks are made from the hot mantle plum that arises from within the earth. The ruthanium metal found in them serves as the identity of the core of the earth. The elevated level of 100ru isotopes in the lava indicates that less than 0.3% of the Earth’s core accesses the surface. This is a strong evidence that the core is not completely isolated from the rest of the earth, as was considered earlier.

The world’s most expensive Civilian Earth Imaging Satellite Nisar was successfully launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on Wednesday to monitor the earth. This satellite is created by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) with the American Space Agency NASA.

NISAR (NASA-ISRO synthetic apartheer radar satellite) was told by ISRO in a tweet on social media platform x that 5:40 PM (according to Indian time) has been launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. For this, spacecraft of pickup truck size has been used. After reaching the orbit of this satellite, its dual-frequency radar will revolve around the earth 14 times a day. This will scan all land and snow surfaces on the earth every 12 days. This is the first collaboration between ISRO and NASA.

ISRO has a social media platform x Post In told that GSLV-F16 has been launched successfully with NISAR. This will make it easier for scientists to monitor soil moisture. Along with this, threats like landslides and floods can be better assessed. ISRO Chairman, V Narayanan said that this is a major step towards playing India’s leading role in satellite technology. He said, “We were dependent on other countries for satellite technology for many years since the launch of India’s first satellite, Aryabhata. This satellite can also record changes as 1 centimeters on the surface of the earth.

NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) has created a long-wavelend L-band radar for NISAR. The Space Applications Center of India has built the short-wavelend S-band radar of this satellite. From this dual-frequency design, NISAR is the first meaning satellite with two radar systems. This satellite will provide important information about dangers like melting glacier on earth and rising sea levels.

The NASA-INRO Synthetic Apparel Satellite will be launched on Wednesday (July 30) for better assessment of dangers such as landslides and floods, along with monitoring soil moisture and vegetation on earth. The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and the American Space Agency NASA have tied-up for this mission.

NISAR Satellite will be launched from Satish Dhawan Space Center in Andhra Pradesh on 30 July 8:10 AM (Indian time). For this, spacecraft of pickup truck size will be used.
Gaganyaan’s first trial to send humans into India’s space will be done by the end of this year. ISRO has started preparations for this. Recently, ISRO Chairman, V Narayanan had said that three -un -crew space missions will be tried from October this year. This will be followed by two crew trial missions. The country’s first Astronaut will fly in an orbital space flight in 2027. With the success of this mission, India will become the fourth country in the world to send Human Mission in Space. Indian Astronaut Shubhanshu Shukla returned to the land on July 15 after spending more than two weeks at the International Space Station (ISS). He is the first Indian to visit ISS. However, he is the second person in the country to go to space after Wing Commander Rakesh Sharma.

In Bollywood today, more attention has been paid to the look and style of the stars. But it was not like this. At that time, actors used to rule the hearts of people with their simplicity and excellent acting. One of these is beautiful and talented actress Shabana Azmi. Who has been getting her acting iron in cinema for the past several years. The actress also has a special record. Actually, she has won the National Award most times.

Shabana has won the National Award 5 times

The return journey of the Indian astronaut group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla and three other members of the Axiom-4 mission has started from space. Spacex informed on the social media platform x that his Dragon Capsule has been successfully separated from the International Space Station (ISS).

Now this capsule will do several “departure burns” one after the other, so that it can move away from ISS. After this it will enter the Earth’s atmosphere and on Tuesday, July 15 at 3:00 pm (Indian time) will do splashadown (landing into water) in the sea near the coast of California.

What will happen after returning to Earth?

After successful landing on Earth, Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla and other astronauts will have to go through a 7 -day special rehabilitation process, so that they can again mold themselves according to the gravitational strength of the earth.

Historical mission from India’s perspective

Group Captain Shukla has completed a 14 -day mission on ISS. He became the first Indian to reach the international space station. He is the second astronaut of India, the first wing commander Rakesh Sharma, who visited space in 1984. During this mission, Shubhanshu Shukla conducted 7 scientific experiments associated with India.

What did you say in the farewell ceremony?

On the occasion of farewell to ISS yesterday, he said, “If seen from space, India appears ambitious, fearless, confident and proud.” He repeated Rakesh Sharma’s famous word and said that ‘Sare Jahan Se Achhe Bharat’ still looks the same today.

Information related to mission

The Axiom-4 mission started on 26 June. The mission also included Pagi Whitson (USA, Commander), Slavosha Ujanski-Visniveski (Poland), Tibor Kapu (Hungary) along with Shubhanshu Shukla. The mission was launched from the Kennedy Space Center, Florida, NASA via Spacex Falcon 9 rocket. This mission is a historical achievement in the space sector for India and Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla has now been recorded in golden letters in the space history of the country.
