On 1 August this year, there was an earthquake of magnitude of 2.3. Light tremors of earthquakes were felt 91 km from Loikawa. At the same time, on 31 July this year, there was an earthquake of magnitude of 4.7. Due to this, there was no major loss.

When earthquake caused havoc in Myanmar

On March 28 this year, a terrible earthquake occurred in Myanmar, due to which thousands of people died. According to the United Nations report, more than 3700 people were killed due to the earthquake on March 28. At the same time, more than 4800 people were injured. Due to the earthquake, there was also a crisis regarding eating in many areas.

Why more earthquake comes in Myanmar

Myanmar is a place where two large tectonic plates ,Indian plates and Eurasian plates) collide. The Indian plate is slowly moving under the Eurasian plate, which is called subduction. This process is from Andaman-Nicobar to the west coast of Myanmar. Due to collision, pressure under the ground is created, which is why earthquakes occur.
