Candidates who want to make a career in banking and finance sector can apply online by visiting the official website of ECGC www.ecgc.in. Apart from this, the facility of correction in application form and fee payment will be provided between 6th to 7th December.

Under this recruitment, qualified candidates will be appointed to many posts. The minimum age of the candidates has been kept at 21 years and maximum at 30 years. Whereas reserved category will get relaxation in age limit, SC/ST candidates will be given relaxation of five years, OBC will be given three years and disabled candidates will be given ten years.

Candidates applying for these posts must have a postgraduate degree in Hindi or English. Also, candidates with additional qualifications and experience related to banking or financial sector will be given preference.

The selection process will be in two phases. First online written examination and second interview. There will be a total of 200 questions in the written examination, which will be of 200 marks. Questions will be asked from subjects like Reasoning, English, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the exam has been fixed at 140 minutes, and 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. The candidates who will be successful in this examination will be called for interview.

Probationary officers in ECGC get an attractive salary package. The starting salary is around Rs 55,000 to Rs 65,000 per month, which includes basic pay, DA, HRA and other allowances.
