Will Arshdeep Singh be in Test debut in Edgbaston

Arshdeep has played in ODI and T20 formats for India, but has not made a test debut. He has taken 66 wickets in 21 first class matches, in which he has taken 5 wickets 2 times. They may get a debut cap in Edgbaston, as the pitch here will help the fast bowlers and Jasprit Bumrah may be out of the second Test due to workload.

Michael Clarke said, “I will not blame any one bowler, but India must feed Kuldeep Yadav. He is a vicious wicket -taking bowler and due to his absence, there was so much difference in the second Test.”

Clarke said, “The pitch of Edgbaston Stadium will turn slightly, in such a situation, Kuldeep Yadav can be dangerous. If Kuldeep is in the rhythm then India will be easy to win. His playing in 11 can prove to be decisive.”

Former England batsman Nick Knight also feels that Shubman Gill should include Kuldeep Yadav in the playing 11 of the second Test. He said in this podcast that England adopts an aggressive attitude and he could find it difficult to Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling variation.
