For the last many years it has been said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but now a new research has proved this notion wrong. According to a recent study, skipping breakfast has no effect on the brain. Especially in older people, it has no effect at all. In such a situation, let us tell you today why breakfast is no longer necessary and what surprising things have come to light in the research.

Shocking study conducted on 3,400 people

In the study regarding breakfast, researchers have analyzed 63 different studies and experiments and memory tests conducted on more than 3,400 people. The results found that there was almost no difference in the brain activity of those who had breakfast and those who did not. According to the data, those who ate breakfast performed just 0.2 units better than the rest. This means that the difference was almost negligible.

The brain also gets energy from backup fuel.

Regarding this research, scientists say that the human brain gets energy from glucose and fat stored in the body. When a person does not eat anything for several hours, the blood sugar level decreases, but the body keeps the brain running smoothly by creating energy from an element called ketones. Apart from this, researchers analyzed data of many years and found that fasting for 8, 12 or 16 hours does not affect a person’s memory, ability to concentrate or decision-making power. It has also been made clear in the study that short term fasting i.e. not eating for a short period of time is safe for both body and mind.

Breakfast is important for children

According to the research results, not having breakfast in the morning has no effect on older people. However, in this research it is not considered right for children to skip breakfast. Research has said that children are in the stage of development, hence it is important for them to have nutritious breakfast regularly. So that their body and mind can get the necessary nutrition. Whereas for adults, there is no need to worry if they miss breakfast sometimes. Both their mind and body can easily handle this change.

The increasing air quality index in Delhi NCR has now become a cause of serious concern. The poisonous air of Delhi is no longer limited only to the lungs but its effect has started appearing on other parts of the body as well. According to reports, pollution in Delhi NCR can also cause autoimmune diseases like rheumatoid arthritis. In such a situation, let us tell you today how the poisonous air of Delhi NCR is affecting not only the lungs but also the brain and heart.

Delhi’s air increases risk to heart health

Looking at the poisonous air of Delhi, experts say that small particles like PM 2.5 present in the polluted air enter the blood and cause swelling in the veins. At the same time, this swelling causes the formation of blood clot, due to which the risk of heart attack increases manifold. Experts say that for people who already have the problem of high blood pressure or clogged arteries, this pollution can prove to be more dangerous. In such a situation, experts also say that to protect the heart from the effects of pollution, it is necessary to reduce exposure to air among people, promote clean air initiatives, and create awareness about heart health.

Effect on brain and mental health also

The poisonous air of Delhi is now having a bad effect not only on the lungs but also on mental health. According to experts, prolonged exposure to poisonous air can have dangerous effects on the brain. Pollution can cause neuroinflammation i.e. swelling in the brain, due to which neuron connections become weak. The balance of neurotransmitters deteriorates and the risk of diseases like Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s increases. Experts say that poisonous air increases oxidative stress, which affects memory, attention and decision-making ability. However, this condition can become more serious in children because their brain is growing at this time. In such a situation, neurological diseases like autism spectrum disorder and ADHD can increase in children due to polluted air.

Risk of depression and suicide is also increasing

Experts say that people who have been living in areas with high levels of pollution for the last 5 years, symptoms like depression and suicidal thoughts and decline in the quality of life are increasing. Experts say that children especially are at greater risk because pollution has a direct impact on their developing brain. This increases the risk of depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and suicidal thoughts.

Most people try to sleep for a few more minutes by pressing the snooze button instead of getting up in the morning. This habit is very common and initially it may look relaxed for a few moments, but perhaps you do not know that it can affect both your body and mind. As a result you feel tired throughout the day and irritability can also increase. In such a situation, it is important that this habit should not be taken lightly and seriously thought about sleep. Let me tell you that very few people know about the hidden loss behind it.

Cardiologist Dr. Sriram Nene warns

Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit’s husband and famous cardiologist (Heart Specialist) Dr. Sriram Nene made a big disclosure about this common habit. Posting a video on Instagram, he told that repeated snoozing alarm can be dangerous for health. This not only spoils the regular cycle of your sleep, but also has repeatedly impact on the brain. This can increase mental and physical fatigue.

Sleep can be deeper

According to Dr. Sri Ram Nene, the habit of repeatedly snoozing the alarm in the morning breaks our sleep in the middle. The result of this is that ‘sleep intercourse’ means that the tiredness and lethargy that feels after sleep is deeper. In such a situation, not only is it difficult to get up, but the body seems heavy throughout the day and it becomes difficult to focus on any work.

Snooze button is a shock to the brain

Dr. Nene told that when you try to sleep again after closing the alarm, the body starts going deeply. However, in a few minutes when the alarm rings again, your sleep breaks in one stroke. These repeated obstacles put pressure on the brain and can also affect the health of the heart when lasting for a long time.

Dr. Nene gave this advice

Dr. Shriram Nene says that waking up at good sleep and right time is very beneficial for mental and physical health. Repeated snoozing breaks the cycle of sleep, which has a bad effect on the brain and heart. His advice is to put a single alarm. Do not snooze him. Sleep on time and wake up in the morning and do light exercise. Keep the alarm away, so that you have to get up from the bed to close it. This will also break the habit of snoozing again and again and the process of waking up in the morning will become easier.

Stress in Childhood Can Affect Brain: According to a new research, stress and difficult experiences in childhood can have a profound effect on mental health. The trauma in childhood can have a permanent effect on the brain. Even it can become the cause of mental disorders. This research suggests that childhood difficulties bring permanent changes in brain structure and immunity, which increases the risk of depression, bipolar disorder and other mental illnesses.

Sara Polyt, a senior researcher at Italy’s Milan (IRCCS) Ospedale San Raffel, said, “The immune system does not just fight infection, but it also plays an important role in shaping our mental health.” He said that childhood stress changes this system, which increases the risk of mental illnesses after decades. Research has identified those special inflammatory indicators (inflammatory markers) who are associated with childhood stress.

Mood disorder is the main cause of disease and death

The research published in the journal ‘Brain Medicine’ has given attention to the use of immunomodulatory agent (Interlucin 2) for the treatment of mood disorder (other mental disorders). According to the World Health Organization, mood disorder is the leading cause of disability, disease and death worldwide. The rate of depression in future can be about 12 percent and bipolar disorder up to 2 percent.

Research found that the mood disorder plays an important role in the immune system disturbances, especially the inflammatory response system. This disturbance can become a major cause of these disorders. Research found that inflammatory indicators (inflammatory markers), which are associated with childhood stress, can form the basis for developing new and better treatment of mental illnesses in future. These indicators will help doctors understand how to treat the disease.

Reduce the risk of mental illnesses

Sara Polati says that she wants to understand the relationship between the immune system and the environment.
