Amidst the ongoing unrest in India’s neighboring country Bangladesh, the interim government there has suffered a major setback. Khudabaksh Chaudhary, special assistant in the Home Ministry headed by Mohammad Yunus, chief advisor to the interim government, has resigned from his post and President Mohammad Shahabuddin has also accepted his resignation.

Khudabaksh Choudhary, a former Director General of Police (IGP) in Bangladesh, was appointed special assistant to Mohammad Yunus on 10 November 2024. His resignation has come at a time when the situation in the country is deteriorating rapidly after the death of rebellion leader Osman Hadi.

Meanwhile, Tariq Rahman, son of former Bangladesh PM, has returned to Bangladesh. Before the return of Tariq Rahman, one person was killed in a bomb attack near a church in the capital Dhaka on Wednesday (24 December). This incident has raised serious concerns regarding security in the capital. Let us tell you that after the death of student leader Usman Hadi, violence has intensified in Bangladesh. The mob also set on fire the offices of two major newspapers of the country, Daily Star and Pratham Aalo.

When will elections be held in Bangladesh?
This uproar is happening in Bangladesh at a time when less than 2 months are left for the country’s national elections. General elections are proposed in Bangladesh on 12 February 2026. This election is the first national election to be held after the fall of Sheikh Hasina government in July 2024. Khudabaksh Chaudhary’s resignation is the fourth major resignation from Yunus’s interim government.

Tariq Rehman is returning to his country
Tariq Rahman, son of former Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia, returned to his country today (25 December) after 17 years. 1 lakh workers of his Bangladeshi Nationalist Party (BNP) gathered near the airport to welcome him. Let us tell you that Rahman had fled to London in 2008 to avoid arrest. At that time, many corruption cases were going on against him in Hasina government.

Awami League banned in Bangladesh
Yunus government has banned Sheikh Hasina’s party Awami League. In such a situation, BNP has great chances of winning the elections. BNP President Khaleda Zia is 80 years old and her health is very bad. It is believed that Tariq Rehman can be a contender for the next PM.

Large scale elections are to be held across the country in the year 2026. Assembly elections will be held in important states like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Assam and West Bengal. Apart from this, elections are also to be held on 75 seats of Rajya Sabha. The seats of the Upper House will become vacant in April, June and November 2026, which may see a change in the balance of power between the NDA and the India Bloc. In the upcoming elections, 5 Rajya Sabha seats from Bihar and 10 seats from Uttar Pradesh will be vacant. Apart from this, seats will also be vacant in Maharashtra, Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu and many north-eastern states.

Crisis on return of these big leaders
Senior leaders whose tenure is ending in 2026 include Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda, Digvijay Singh, Sharad Pawar and Union ministers Hardeep Singh Puri, BL Verma, Ravneet Singh Bittu and George Kurien. The political future of these leaders is uncertain, as it remains to be seen whether they will return to Parliament or will be replaced by new faces.

5 seats of Bihar in Rajya Sabha will become vacant in April and 7 more seats of Maharashtra will become vacant in November 2026. Additional seats will also be vacant in Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, West Bengal and Tamil Nadu. This period is a concentrated phase of changes in the Upper House, which will affect several states simultaneously.

10 seats of UP will be vacant
10 seats in Uttar Pradesh are also going to become vacant by November 2026. The tenure of the members of Madhya Pradesh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh will also end in the same period, due to which the scope of change will increase even further.

Currently NDA has 129 seats in Rajya Sabha, while the opposition has 78 seats. The 2026 elections may prove to be an important contest, which may change the balance of power in the Upper House and may also influence the party’s strategies in the future.

The tenure of these leaders will end in Bihar
5 Rajya Sabha seats will become vacant in Bihar on April 9 and elections are likely to be held by March. The leaders whose tenure is ending include RJD’s Prem Chand Gupta and Amarendra Dhari Singh, JDU’s Harivansh Narayan Singh and Union Minister Ramnath Thakur, besides Upendra Kushwaha of Rashtriya Lok Morcha.

Madhya Pradesh Government Cabinet Minister and Municipal Administration Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya gave a big statement in the regional meeting of urban development held in Bhopal. He said that due to political compulsions, fulfilling the announcements made has now become a big challenge for the states. He stressed the need for adequate budgetary support from the Central Government for urban development and described the current financial situation as serious.

Government’s thinking on urban development and target of 2047

Kailash Vijayvargiya said that whenever the Prime Minister talks about the future of the country, his concern about urbanization is clearly visible. The Prime Minister’s goal is that India should become a developed country by 2047 and the role of cities will be most important in this. He said that cities will have to sit in the driving seat and take responsibility for the development of their surrounding areas. The minister said that he has been the minister of the same department before and since then, large scale schemes and funds have been coming from the central government, for which the administrative capacity has had to be continuously increased.

Political compulsions and deteriorating budget balance

Minister Vijayvargiya said in clear words that the condition of the state budget has become very bad. The biggest reason behind this is political compulsions, due to which many big commitments are made during elections. He said that it has now become difficult to get the amount of budget required to fulfill these announcements. The Minister reiterated that due to this, there are problems in development works and the states have to look towards the Central Government with hopeful eyes.

Amrit Yojana, Self-reliant Municipal Corporation and Solar Energy

Referring to Amrit Yojana, Kailash Vijayvargiya said that many works under this scheme are incomplete in almost all the states of the country. He told that the budget received by the cities has reduced by about 70 percent and about 30 percent of the work is still pending. In such a situation, if the Central Government cooperates, then these schemes can be completed. The minister also mentioned the efforts being made towards a self-reliant municipal corporation. He told that through the property mapping system, property tax has increased by about 150 percent. Along with this, solar energy is being adopted in the energy sector and its own solar plant of about 250 MW capacity is being prepared, which will enable a major reduction in the electricity expenditure of the states.

Former Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Duvvuri Subbarao has expressed serious concern over the growing freebie culture i.e. free facilities and cash promises during elections in India. He said in one of his articles that even though elections can be won through these free schemes, it does not strengthen the future of the country. Subbarao said that ‘distributing borrowed money is easy, but it does not create a nation.’

Competition of promises in elections
Subbarao gave the example of Bihar assembly elections and said that the election campaign had turned into a ‘competition of populist promises’. He said that the NDA government sent Rs 10,000 to the accounts of about 1.2 crore women during the election campaign, while the opposition alliance made big promises – Rs 30,000 to every woman and a government job in every household. According to him, the atmosphere during the elections was such that the political parties had completely forgotten the limits of economic responsibility and budget.

Freebie destroys influence and trust
The former governor says that when every party announces free schemes during elections, their influence gradually disappears. People start understanding that these promises are limited to elections only and are not necessarily fulfilled. He said- ‘When promises exceed limits, people stop trusting.’

Many states are burdened with financial burden
According to Subbarao, after implementing the election promises, many states have now started understanding the real value of this model. He said that the expenditure on social schemes of Andhra Pradesh is much more than estimated. Telangana is already facing huge financial pressure. Even in Maharashtra and Karnataka, the budget for other development works is falling short. He said that when a large part of the budget is spent on cash transfers, freebies and subsidies, investment on education, health, employment and infrastructure reduces.

Giving freebie by borrowing is the most dangerous
Subbarao’s biggest warning was that governments are borrowing to complete these schemes. He said- ‘Today’s expenses are becoming a burden on people’s tomorrow. The money given today will have to be repaid by future generations.

Politics silent due to fear
The former governor says that no political party in India wants to oppose the freebie culture because they fear that they will be called ‘anti-poor’. He says that this is not the problem of just one party but the weakness of the entire political system.

Called the freebie a ‘political failure’
Subbarao said that the free schemes are a way of acknowledging that the government has failed to provide employment, income and opportunities. He said, ‘It is easy to give money to people for today’s needs, but making them self-reliant is real development.’

need to make national rules
He suggested that a national framework should be created in India, which would decide how much amount the government can spend on free schemes. What can be announced before the elections and most importantly where will the money come from.

The hustle and bustle of assembly elections in Bihar has now stopped. The noise of campaigns, rallies, slogans and debates that went on for weeks has now gradually subsided. The vehicles of the leaders have returned, the buzz of speeches has stopped and instead of election excitement, the same everyday hustle and bustle has returned on the streets. But as soon as the election results came, a bitter, old and repeated picture came to the fore again. As soon as the elections were over, crowds suddenly started gathering at the railway stations. Everywhere at the train doors, gates and platforms, there was only one sight: not hundreds, but thousands of Bihari laborers returning to their places of work.

Many such videos are going viral on social media, which are constantly exacerbating the pain of migration in Bihar. Migration of Bihari oppressed people was also a big issue in this election, but looking at the videos that have surfaced, it seems that big things are limited to elections only. One such video is going viral very fast, in which it can be seen that the laborers working outside, who had come to Bihar to cast their votes in the elections, are now returning to their respective cities in packed trains.

What is in the viral video?

Looking at the condition of the trains in the video, it is not difficult to guess how crowded it is. There is no space for people sitting in the coaches, many people are standing at the doors, someone is trying to climb on the roof. There was only one expression on everyone’s face: Election is over, now we have to get back to work. This video again reminds us of the truth of Bihar that even today lakhs of people have to go away from their homes for employment. No matter how many promises are made in elections, in real life their compulsion remains the same.

People’s comments on social media

As soon as the video went viral, people started making various types of comments. Many users expressed their displeasure over this exodus and wrote, the same situation happens in every election, no leader talks about employment, if there was work in Bihar, the workers would not be in such a hurry to return. Laborers are most important during elections and are most helpless even after elections. Some people also said that this scene is not just a video but a big question. Will Bihar ever become a place where people can get employment at home instead of going out?

Bihar Politics Prediction: Every time the planets change their position in the sky, its effect is seen on Earth. The day of 14 November 2025 is also similar, the sky looks calm, but there is turmoil from within. From an astrological point of view, this day is not just a chapter of the calendar, but a subtle indication of the balance of power.

Presence of Moon in Leo, Sun’s transit in Libra, and retrograde Jupiter in Cancer, these three transits are creating such an axis today on which decisions, leadership and alliances are all swinging.

Platform, Leadership and Confidence

Leo is considered to be the Sun’s own sign, and when the Moon comes here, ego and self-confidence increases in both the person or the government. In the Puranas it has been called ‘royal moon’. According to Brihat Jataka, Singhe Chandre Prahitnam Rajyaam Prapnoti Bhubhritah means when the Moon is in the Leo sign, the king struggles for his identity and respect. This indicates that today there will be confidence in the ruling party, but internal differences may also become vocal. This means that whichever party wins, there will be a feeling of struggle within it for the CM face and for the important ministry.

Sun debilitated in Libra, balance or compromise?

Today the Sun is debilitated in Libra. According to Varahamihir, ‘Neechasthe Bhaskare Nripanamanuchitam Rajyaam Sthayat’ i.e. when the Sun is in its lowest sign, then the king’s kingdom does not remain stable, he has to face the reaction of the public. This means that in today’s politics, along with the show of power, there will also be a phase of defense and clarification. The statements, agreements and strategies of the leaders will all be focused on managing the public image. Those who decide the politics of Bihar will have to face a new crisis.

Color of Purva Phalguni Nakshatra, Popularity and Display

Today’s Nakshatra is Purva Phalguni, which is ruled by Venus. This nakshatra is associated with charisma, public support and ‘shine on stage’. In both Bihar and Delhi, only those leaders who know the language of crowd and camera will benefit today. But this Nakshatra also has a warning that when popularity becomes too much, prudence diminishes. This is why any sharp statement or controversial announcement today can have a bigger impact than expected.

Jupiter retrograde, return of old files

Jupiter (Jupiter) is currently in retrograde motion. The Vedic text Siddhant Shiromani says ‘Guru Vakri Bhavati Tada Phiryasmaranam Karmanam’. When Guru Vakri happens, old decisions come under review again. Politically, this means that decisions, appointments or announcements taken in the past months may come up for discussion again. There is a possibility of increase in ‘review notings’ and ‘commitment revision’ in the government system.

Political temperature of Bihar

The direct effect of Moon in Leo is visible on the politics of Bihar. At the state level, confidence in the ruling party will increase, but the opposition will try to capture the ‘public mood’. There is a possibility that today may become important for meetings, media management or social media campaigns. A sudden statement or signal from a big leader can decide the direction of the coming weeks. Not only this, Dashami Tithi is a symbol of both struggle and review. This is the date that urges prudence before decisions.

Situation in Delhi…round of talks, but no decision

In the capital, Libra Sun and retrograde Jupiter together create a unique restraint. This is a situation when decisions ‘remain on file’ and signatures are delayed. Today there will be a possibility of some policy announcement at the government or coalition level, but the implementation may get delayed. This restraint is not for show, but is the need of the hour. According to the planets, the one who acts hastily will become a victim of criticism.

Do planets influence?

This question often arises whether planets can really change politics? The answer is that the planets create the circumstances, the man takes the decisions. According to astrology, planets only awaken tendencies, the responsibility of karma remains on the human being. In today’s situation, Leo-Moon gives self-confidence, Libra-Sun asks for discretion and retrograde-Jupiter makes for review. Together, all three are creating an equation where power, compromise and review are active together.

Who can spoil the game?

Purva Falguni’s influence is not limited to leaders only. This constellation is associated with mass media and emotional upsurge of the public. Today, any small political statement can change the media narrative. For the opposition, this day is an opportunity to ‘refresh old wounds’, while for the ruling party, it is a test of ‘dialogue versus confrontation’.

This day of 14 November 2025 is not just a number in the calendar for Indian politics, but a symbol of the struggle of confidence and caution. The Moon sitting in Leo says ‘Speak up’, the Sun in Libra says ‘Stay balanced’, and the retrograde Jupiter warns ‘Old scores will reopen.’ Only the leader who understands these three messages will survive. Everyone else will get entangled in the game of planets because in politics as well as in the sky, imbalance is never permanent.

During the voting in the by-election of Jubilee Hills Assembly under Hyderabad, a tense situation arose at the polling booth of Borabanda when a heated argument broke out between the workers of the ruling Congress and the opposition BRS and it soon turned into a clash. This incident once again shows that the political heat regarding the by-elections in the area is at its peak.

BRS candidate Maganti Sunita Gopinath alleged that Congress leaders were forcefully stopping her from setting up a table near the booth. According to him, Congress workers were violating election rules and when they protested, the police took unilateral action. Sunita Gopinath openly accused the police of favoring the Congress party and threatening their workers.

The police calmed down the matter by explaining
She gave a clear warning that she would not tolerate any such behavior that intimidates her workers. However, the police intervened timely and pacified the ongoing dispute between the two parties and brought the situation under control. On the other hand, to ensure transparency and orderliness of the election process, GHMC Commissioner and District Election Officer R.V. Kernan inspected the polling stations set up at Don Bosco School in Erragadda for the Jubilee Hills by-election.

District Election Officer inspected
The District Election Officer assured that all necessary arrangements have been made for the general public to vote without any hassle. He also said that when voting started in the morning, there was a malfunction in the electronic voting machines (EVMs) at 11 centres, but the problem was immediately rectified and voting started again smoothly.

Commissioner Karnan has conducted the inspection at a time when there were continuous reports of tension and clashes between political parties in places like Borabanda, raising questions on the security and fairness of the electoral process.

In this assembly elections in Bihar, UP CM and BJP’s star campaigner Yogi Adityanath has campaigned vigorously. On 9 November, he addressed a huge public meeting during an election rally in Sikti assembly constituency of Araria.

In this address, Yogi Adityanath has fiercely targeted the opposition parties. He said that only NDA government can develop Bihar. Referring to the poor welfare schemes of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Yogi said that the Modi government is giving free ration to 80 crore poor, whereas the work of Congress and RJD has been limited only to corruption and brokerage.

RJD people had stopped the Ram Mandir chariot – Yogi Adityanath

Addressing the public meeting, CM Yogi Adityanath said, “Today Bihar has everything it needs. There is a legacy of development and welfare of the poor under the leadership of PM Modi. Congress-RJD used to say that there is no Ram, and if Ram is not there, then how will Mata Janaki be there. Congress used to say that the Ram temple will never be built. RJD stopped the Rath Yatra of Ram Temple. In Uttar Pradesh, their ally Samajwadi Party opened fire on Ram devotees.

CM Yogi said that when Congress, RJD and SP said that they will not allow Ram temple to be built, we said, ‘Ram Lala, we will come, build the temple there’ and Ram temple was built in Ayodhya. The world’s largest temple dedicated to Lord Shri Ram has been completed in Ayodhya. Ram Lala has been seated. Along with Ram Lala, Mata Janaki, Lord Ram, Bajrangbali, Laxman ji are also there. The international airport in Ayodhya has been named after Maharishi Valmiki.” CM Yogi said that these are the same people who insulted the faith of the country and are now again trying to bring instability in Bihar.

Opposition parties want to bring Jungle Raj again in Bihar- Yogi Adityanath

CM Yogi Adityanath described RJD’s rule as “Jungle Raj” and said that more than 60 incidents of massacre had taken place during that period. He warned the public that if Congress and RJD come back to power, Bihar will again go into the era of crime and anarchy. Yogi said, “After the formation of the NDA government under the leadership of Nitish Kumar in 2005, Bihar took a new path of development. Today, roads, electricity and other facilities have reached every village.”

NDA government is a symbol of development

Yogi said that today’s Bihar has changed. The state which earlier was full of darkness and fear, now sees the pace of development. He said that the NDA government has improved education, employment and basic facilities. The public will have to see that the parties which once opposed Ram Mandir are still living with the same mentality. Yogi said that if Bihar is to move forward then the people will have to choose Vikas Raj and not Jungle Raj.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday said if Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was really concerned about the interests of the Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) or minority communities, then he should have appointed someone from these sections as the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha.

Addressing public meetings in Rohtas and Kaimur districts, Singh termed Rahul Gandhi’s allegation of ‘vote theft’ as ‘unnecessary and baseless’. He said that if Rahul Gandhi has evidence, he should complain to the Election Commission.

Rajnath Singh’s target on Rahul Gandhi
Rajnath Singh said, ‘If Rahul Gandhi really cares about Scheduled Castes, Tribes or minorities, he should have made someone from these communities the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha.’ Rahul Gandhi became the leader of the opposition after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Counterattack on allegations of vote theft
The Defense Minister said, ‘If Rahul Gandhi feels that votes are being stolen in Bihar, then he should complain to the Election Commission with evidence. But he is not doing this. He is only making baseless allegations against a constitutional institution. He is lying.

Congress accused of ‘divisive politics’
The Defense Minister accused Congress of creating rift in the society in the name of caste, religion and sect and said that this is part of its ‘divisive politics’. He said, ‘Rahul Gandhi is raising the issue of reservation in defense forces. Our armed forces are above all these things. He should not be dragged into politics.

BJP supports reservation: Rajnath Singh
He said, ‘Bharatiya Janata Party supports reservation. We have given reservation to the poor and eligible sections of the society. Singh praised the success of the armed forces in ‘Operation Sindoor’ and said that it ‘has stopped, not ended’. He said, ‘If terrorists try to attack India again, we will give a strong reaction. India does not provoke anyone, but if someone provokes us, we will not spare him. The Defense Minister said, ‘India is no longer a weak country. Today we are recognized as a powerful nation in the world.

An interesting scene was seen at Patna Airport on 7th November amid Bihar Assembly elections. Actually, two big superstars of Bhojpuri industry and now campaigners of two different political camps – Khesari Lal Yadav and Manoj Tiwari came face to face.

As soon as RJD candidate Khesari saw BJP leader Manoj Tiwari, he touched his feet without any delay. Smiling, both of them hugged each other and asked – “How are you?” Now this video is going viral on social media.

This moment was seen at Patna airport

This meeting happened suddenly at Patna airport, when both were going for their respective election programs. While Manoj Tiwari was leaving for rallies in support of BJP candidates, RJD candidate Khesari Lal Yadav was returning from his campaign. There were smiles on the faces of both the artists during the meeting. Khesari came forward and saluted him and said, “He is the elder brother, it is my duty to show respect.” On this, Manoj Tiwari also hugged him and said, “Politics can come between us, but it cannot break the values.”

Bhojpuri stars face to face in election field

The presence of Bhojpuri industry has increased significantly in Bihar elections. On one hand, stars like Manoj Tiwari, Pawan Singh and Dinesh Lal Yadav ‘Nirahua’ are in the fray in support of BJP, while on the other hand, Khesari Lal Yadav from RJD is trying to connect with the voters on the basis of his popularity. Statements against each other are often seen on election forums, but the scene that unfolded at the airport gave the message that politics has its place, but mutual respect is supreme.

Public discussion and viral video on social media

The video of this meeting has become increasingly viral on social media. At the same time, political analysts believe that even if the languages used on election platforms are harsh, such scenes send a positive message to the society. Overall, this meeting of Khesari and Manoj Tiwari at Patna Airport brought warmth of human relations amidst the election noise.
